1.5 years post-op, what is happening with my revisioned breast? (Photos)

Question

I had revision surgery on one of my breast and now they look uneven. The issue was muscle pulling and making dent in the cleavage area. This is fixed but now my breast sits lower and my nipple higher. It also has shelf-appearance when looking down on it.. its said to be under muscle but I highly doubt it since it looks like sitting on the top, not being covered by tissue and muscle. Its 1.5 year post procedure! IS THIS FIXABLE AND HOW? Thank you very much

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

This is fixable. The prior surgical revision enlarged the pocket allowing the implant to sit lower than it should. This can be remedied with another surgery that closes down the pocket along the inframammary fold so that the implant will sit a little higher on your chest. This will give you more symmetry in both  your inframammary fold and nipple positions.

With your first photos, your hair is covering your nipples, so I cannot say much about the position of the implant in relations to the muscle. The second photo does show the possibility of the implant falling down below the muscle. Please stand in front of the mirror, place your hands on your waist, and flex your chest muscles. This will show if both implants are behind the muscle.  Please discuss your concerns with your surgeon.
