I saw a surgeon last year & he told me it wasn't possible for me to have smaller boobs & I wouldn't be happy if I took my implants out. I dont want to be stuck with big boobs. For context, I want to close the gap between my collarbone & top of boob. My boob job didn't satisfy this want. I wanted the push up bra effect, not just 'big boobs'. I originally enquired about a lift but the surgeon said it wasn't necessary & ended up lowering my crease making my torso look short. Am I out of options?

Answer: Higher smaller boobs Dear Anon_A, breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals. Answer: Don't want big boobs There is absolutely no reason you need to keep your implants if you do not want them. I encourage you to visit with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss options. It appears you would have a nice result from implant removal with a lift. The result would be smaller, lifted breasts.
