Hello, I am bothered by my heavy lower face. I had a consultation for chin liposuction but the surgeon informed me that I would not be a good candidate because I do not have much fat under my chin, which leads me to believe that the issue could be skin laxity. I also have chin filler and a recessed chin due to overbite. Thank you.

Based on your photo and considering your youthfulness, you may benefit from an elastic facelift (it is not a thread lift). This surgical procedure is less invasive and can be performed under local anesthesia.

Lipo under local can really improve your profile and is so easy to undergo but be sure to get facetite/morpheus at the same time for best results.  It is definitely worth it.

Thank you for your question and for sharing your photographs. The separation between the contours of the lower face and the neck, as well as the girth of the upper part of the neck, significantly impact how we perceive the face. My impression is that you would benefit more from a deep plane neck lift intervention, which addresses the volume situated deep to the platysma muscles and is inaccessible to liposuction.

Although we tend to think that our vision isolates changes, the practical effect is that there is an element of integrated assessment. As a result, when the contour of the neck and jawline changes, the appearance of the face also seems different. My impression is that a deep plane neck lift would be the better solution for you at this stage.

Before evaluating patients' cases, I generally prefer to conduct a physical examination. Especially in the context of facelift surgeries, it's crucial to carefully assess the patient's muscle tissue, skin structure, and facial shape.

For the neck and chin area, combining a facelift with an anterior necklift might be more suitable. Afterwards, to enhance femininity in the face, we could consider a chin implant or facial fat injection. However, it's important to have a one-on-one discussion with the patient and conduct a detailed evaluation to determine a precise treatment plan."

I think you should consider a chin implant and/or orthognathic surgery depending on the severity of your malocclusion (overbite). In either case, improving your chin projection will help balance the lower third of the face and reduce the appearance of soft tissue laxity. I would be very wary of undergoing a facelift at age 30 because the reality is that your skin elasticity is probably very good.

I am only basing this on the two pictures provided so please don’t consider this medical advice but a suggestion. You are correct that the main issue is your overbite.  The chin/jaw being smaller has not given enough support to the lower face which makes you look older than you are.  While a deep plain necklift and chin implant could help mask the problem I would first recommend seeing a jaw surgeon about a possible sagital split osteotomy to bring your jaw forward.  This will help with current and future aging as well as open up your air way more and potentially prevent future sleep apea

I would not recommend a lower facelift. I would recommend a chin implant. This can be done intra-orally and will tighten the skin of the lower face. At the same time, you can undergo liposuction of the neck, particularly the midline, to make it look more attractive.

Based on the photos, I would suggest emphasizing a youthful neck with a limited incision neck-lift, ad possibly a chin implant. There will be virtually no benefit from any facial lifting procedure.  Procedures without benefit offer only risk.

Your lower face would benefit from what I would consider an anterior facelift or mini facelift. This targets the lower mid-face, neck and jowls. Most doctors will do some fat excision or chin lipo simultaneously, which is what I prefer. I think it would also be wise to consider a chin augmentation to define your jawline and compliment the tightening of the skin. This approach will all-over give you a more youthful, sharp appearance of your face to match your well-defined cheek bones.
