I'm 18 years old and have a slight hump on my nose that has bothered me from a very young age. However, being a ballet/modern dancer, I'm a bit worried about the recovery. How long would it take for me to get back to dancing? Thank you!

Answer: Two to four weeks. Every plastic surgeon has their own protocol for post-operative instructions and restrictions, but most would agree that you can get back to unrestricted activity within four weeks, including dancing. Make sure that you have selected a board certified plastic surgeon or facial plastic surgeon experienced in rhinoplasty surgery, and that your aesthetics align with those of your surgeon based on their "before and after" gallery. Best of luck to you.

Answer: Nose surgery sdblust09, no dancing for one week and you cannot do anything where you might bump your nose for one month after surgery; so if you can dance without hitting your nose then it is one week! Make sure you see an experienced surgeorn that does "only faces" and has plenty of good photos to see on there web site. Seach the Internet! Good luck!
