3 days ago I got hit with a phone straight to my nose and it bled for about a minute. It hurt with the shock but not much after. The bridge of my nose is a bit swollen. I've also noticed the right side of the bridge is a lot more tender and swollen compared to the left side, I can breathe fine. I've always had a straight nose but after this incident I wonder if a rhinoplasty would help if the damage is permanent?? What should I do?

It is very uncommon to have a nose turn upwards with a smile. It is more common to have the nasal tip droop downwards because of a muscle called depressor septi. There is no easy surgery to stop the movement of the muscle that is causing an upturn of the nose.RegardsDr. J
