Should I be worried? Will this ruin the product? What should I do? Please help.. I was very happy with my results before but now I have a fat lip
Answer: I hit my lip 24 hours after JVD placement and now it is extremely swollen. Thank you for sharing your question and I am sorry to hear of your lip accident. Because of the recent placement of JVD your lips are sensitizied to additional injury and responded by exuberant swelling as a result of your cut. This will abate with time, and should not materially impact your lip results. I would speak to your injector about what took place but help yourself by using cold compresses, sleeping with an extra pillow or two behind your back and consider use of Arnica and Bromelain supplementation. It is normal to experience some swelling to your lips after hitting them and you can use cold compresses to help reduce it. If this does not get better please follow up with your injector. However, due to your injectables treatment, your lips are more sensitive so I am not surprised that you are experiencing swelling after hitting your lip. Don't worry. Answer: I had Juvederm 24 hours ago. I hit my lip today and cut the underneath. Now this side is extremely swollen. Thanks for your question and sorry that you are having these concerns at this time. I think everything will be fine and you can safely use some cold compresses on the area to help reduce the swelling. If you are not better in the next few days then I would recommend seeing your provider but I am sure this is going to be fine.

Answer: Lip augmentation with Juvederm Please be seen and examined. If your Injector was a Plastic surgeon then this should be simple to address.
