I had Juverderm Plus injected into my upper and bottom lips in August/November 2014. I don't know the exact amount. Just know that I used 1 complete syringe, and then almost a compete 2nd syringe. The injector placed too much in my top lip. Over 2 years later, the filler has barely dissolved much. How much longer before it's gone? I thought it would've been completely dissolved by a year. I'm scared to use the treatment to dissolve it, but it won't go away! Some days it's puffier than others.

Answer: Juvederm duration Hi alm28,Sorry to hear you are not happy with your filler. It is not typical for Juvederm to last over 2 years in the lips, but every person is different. Since it has been that long, I would not hesitate to use the enzyme (hyaluronidase) to dissolve it. Dissolving the filler is relatively quick and easy, and is very safe. By the way, filler attracts water, which is why your lips are puffier on certain days -- it depends on how much water you are retaining. Best of luck!

Answer: Unfortunately, there is no precise answer to your question. Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, there is no precise answer to your question. The presence of fillers might be possible even after years of injection. You can have this dissolved by an enzyme known as hyaluronidase. I recommend you consult with an expert for an evaluation and determine the best treatment plan for you. All the best!
