How to fix my uneven lips after injection? (photos)

Question

I received juvederm ultra plus lip injections approximately two weeks ago. My lips had a slight imbalance prior to but was never noticed. I've gone back for a touch up as the imbalance was very noticeable after the first treatment. A week after the second treatment and my lips are still uneven. Any recommendations. I am a professional fitness competitor and model with several photo shoots and video shoots this weekend. Help.

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs and I am sorry that your current results have not been what you anticipated.  Having a set of before images of your lips would prove useful to assess your baseline appearance but based on your supplied pictures I would add filler to the right side of the picture's upper lip to increase the "point" while adding additional filler into the red of the pictures left upper lip to add volume.  This should help achieve improved symmetry.  Hope this helps.

You could certainly use a modest touch-up in the left peak of the upper lip. Hopefully you won't have to continue to go back for touch-ups to get a satisfactory result as you may end up with overly full lips that look unnatural.

Your frustration is understandable. The left side of your upper lip has much less dramatic curvature with lower peak. The correction is definitely possible but two conditions must be observed : first, a very small volume needs to be injected, second - the goal is NOT to increase your left side of the upper lip volume but to inject  at the level that will result in localized eversion of this lip.
Simply adding more volume will not correct the outline but will eventually disturb the proportions of your lips. If for some reason the correction can not be done before your photoshoots then any makeup artist should be able to correct this, temporarily, by creating an illusion.

Like breast implants if you place equal amounts in each side it will magnify the differences between the lips. The slight curl on your right was there before as well.

Filler injection to the lips can in some cases make any baseline asymmetries more noticeable. In your case, I would inject some filler into the peak of the left upper lip and into the body of the right upper lip. See an experienced injector and discuss your concerns.

Thanks for the photo's.  Filler does at times enhance the natural asymmetry in lips . I am assuming that when you went back to your injector, they tried adding more to your left upper lip border?
