In regards to making a quality assessment, and Neurologist is probably the ideal person.
Unfortunately, treatment options may be inherently limited whether you’re seen by a neurologist or plastic surgeon.
If you have concerns about the outcome consulting with another plastic surgeon may be ideal.
I wish I had a better solution for you.
I think a neurology consult may be appropriate especially if you feel like it’s affecting your speech.
Potentially oral surgeons may also have some input on the outcome of jaw surgery.
