Can galaflex/strattice (internal bra) be done without exchanging existing implants? (Photo)

This is a complex problem to address. I would recommend placing significantly smaller implants, possibly making a new pocket (neo-subpectoral pocket), adding Galaflex to help support the breast tissue, and performing a breast lift. The placement of very large implants will only continue to create more problems. I would recommend seeing a board-certified or board-eligible plastic surgeon with actual training in plastic surgery and an aesthetic fellowship. I find it also very beneficial if the surgeon has 3D imaging that can help simulate your revisionary surgery prior to the actual case. Best of luck!

There is no absolute need to replace the implants when placing a Galaflex internal bra, which I think is a very good option for you. This will add the support that you need and can be placed in a way that prevents the implants from moving laterally too much.

It does not appear to me that you would need a full lift. You would likely benefit from an internal bra with mesh (Galaflex, Durasorb) and inferior mastopexy which is removal of the lower pole stretched skin. If you are happy with your current size of implants there really is no need to change your implants out as well as they are new.

Also very nice posted photos. The reason most surgeon request also placing new implants are a few reasons. Higher risks of post op infections, capsular sub growth of bacteria causing fibrosis or capsule, plus the plastic surgery standard is replace implants if doing and using mesh. A few plastic surgeons would try to use existing implants with a consent covering these risks. Keep consulting til you find one. But the costs of new implants added to fee would be under $3,000. So why not exchange????
