I am looking to find doctors opinions on GalaFlex as does it really work. I have had a Breast list with implants and it seems that my implants have "bottomed out" per a PS I went to. This was not the original PS that did my procedure. Would GalaFlex work to bring my implants back to where they need to be? I have Natrelle implants. Should I consider getting different implants? I want to wear shirts without a bra without it showing that I'm not wearing one.

Answer: Does Galafex work for holding up implants?
Thank you for your question.
It may have been improperly placed and not sutured in correctly. I have used galaflex a lot and it works very nicely especially for bottoming out. I would see our other surgeons for a second opinion.
If the muscle is actively pushing the implants to the side, you may have a better long term result with going over the muscle even with Gala to support the pocket. However if you do not have enough soft tissue to conceal the upper part of the implants without muscle, you will be trading one...
Galaflex is frequently used as an internal bra to support breast tissue after a breast lift or breast reduction. It does not cause hardening of the tissues, but is transformed into a pliable layer of tissue over 12-15 months. It should not affect future procedures. Many examples on my website.
