Hi , i have recived Botox injection on my upper lip in 4 spots for correcting my gummy smile, considering the small units of Botox which is used for this manner , is it safe for me to become pregnant after 2 weeks since the injection ???

There are no clear guidelines regarding getting Botox and trying to conceive. We do not advise you get additional Botox injections while pregnant or while breast-feeding/pumping. Best of luck to you!

It is recommended when if a patient is pregnant or trying to conceive it is best to avoid Botox treatments.  At this time there is no known risk to becoming pregnant after a Botox treatment.  I encourage you to discuss any questions with your injector or OB/Gyn.

Yes. It is safe.  Botox is injected locally into the appropriate muscles to relax your gummy smile - and would not have a negative impact on your attempts to become pregnant.
