My surgeon said my detached earlobe will repair itself on its own. How can it repair itself on its own if it's detached? It I need it sutured how long should I wait?

Answer: Wound healing The wound will heal in time but may not lead to the best scar. I would rather repair it with sutures for the best longterm result.

Answer: Detached Earlobe after Minilift If there is a little gap in the skin between the earlobe and cheek after a mini-lift, it will heal on its own. If there is a wide space between your earlobe and cheek and this looks completely different from before surgery, it will not correct itself. I would wait 4 weeks after surgery before considering correcting this issue after a mini-lift.I hope this helps.
