Hi, I will be 34 this year but is already seeing sagging skin around my nose/mouth area. I have done fillers but don't really like them because I have to go back once every 2-3 months. Is Mini Facelift a good option for me?
Answer: Surgical VS Non Surgical Thank for your question and pictures. It appears you have a bit of skin laxity around the jowl area, therefore are non invasive facelift which I offer my patients, which is performed under local anaesthetic. Overall you are still young and maybe non surgical treatment would be beneficial. Most of my patient want a facelift however do not want the downtime associated. The Concept Facelift is the procedure I perform, which combines the latest surgical techniques with the use of local anaesthetic to dramatically reduce the risks associated with traditional facelifts, while significantly reducing the bruising and downtime of your recovery, from months to a matter of days. The lower facelift would lessen the marionette lines, however does not remove. These can be soften even more by chemical peels or laser treatments. If you have lax facial skin, lost volume and feel that you have jowls and wrinkles on your cheeks and you look tired when you're not then the concept facelift can help improve your appearance. With concept facelift you will look natural and fresh just like the way you feel inside. There are no bandages, drains and hospital stay but with lasting results of traditional facelift techniques it fits with today's age. What are the benefits of a local anaesthetic facelift? Minimally invasive as it is a short scar faceliftThere is minimal bruising and swelling, especially when compared to traditional faceliftsAs the procedure is performed under local anaesthetic, you can go straight home following the procedureFull recovery in a matter of days rather than monthsSignificantly less risk than Facelifts performed under general anaestheticFresh, youthful and long lasting resultsPlease make sure you find a reputable and qualified plastic surgeon who can assess you properly to give you a realistic idea of what outcome you can achieve. All The Best

Answer: Non-Surgical Face Lift / Skin Resurfacing with Renuvion/J-Plasma -- add Lasers, Microneedling/PRP, Ultherapy, FaceTite In our practice, we perform a non-surgical face lift / skin resurfacing treatment using Renuvion Helium Plasma Radiofrequency. To get the most improvement with skin tightening, we combine Renuvion (formerly J-Plasma) with lasers (Fraxel, Clear + Brilliant, CO2), microneedling/PRP, Ultherapy and InMode FaceTite. I suggest getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Mini facelift More and more women in their 30s are doing mini face lifts. The advantages are that it can correct early jowls that result in a square lower face appearance and it can be done under local anesthesia in the office. The incisions are less extensive and in this young cohort they heal imperceptibly. If you have weighed the risks and benefits carefully, it may be a good procedure for you.

Answer: Age and Mini-Lift Thank you for the question and your photos. I agree with the general assessment of the other experts -- your issues seem to be in the chin/jawline projection. This is best addressed with a combined pre-jowl and chin implant. You are a bit young still for invasive surgical procedures. Best of luck!
