Your surgeon will decide the best place for the incision and how much tissue to remove. The goal is to not have too much tension on the incision because that will distort the nearby tissue. Make sure you see someone who has done the majora before.

The goal is to place the incision as medial (towards the minora) as possible without creating a gaping effect where the vaginal opening is more exposed.Based only on the photos you provided it appears that your labia minora are large and asymmetric so they would certainy protrude beyond your majora afterwards. I think you would benefit from a labia minora reduction at the time of your labia majora reduction to provide you with the most youthful and natural appearance.
