I couldn’t have asked for better results. Dr. Roth is excellent in his field of work and a perfectionist. I recommend him to anyone who ask about my procedure. I had a Breast Lift with implants in 2017 and still love my breast now in 2021! Thank you Dr. Roth.
Dr Roth and his staff at West Ave Plastic Surgery were very professional, accessible, transparent and helpful. Anytime I email him or his office, I get a very quick response and resolution. (I'm talking VERY QUICK response and resolution.) Some of my friends think he's a unicorn because doctors like him just don't exist. I'm telling you-all, he's real and he's great! Highly recommend!
I have wanted to be rid of my double chin and face fullness for years but didn’t want a facelift yet. I went to a different Houston doctor last year who told me I needed lipo with full facelift. I just thought that was too much work that I didn’t need so I opted not to. When I saw this new procedure Dr Roth was doing in office I decided to go see him. First of all, customer service! Dr Roth returned my call Himself on a Saturday! He was so nice and treated me like a friend. He made me feel important and that means a lot. I then went in on Monday to meet with him. I loved everyone I encountered in his office. All the girls are very nice and helpful. Not pretentious at all! (I’ve met some who are) Then Dr Roth himself was great! Told me what all he thought I should have done. So we decided on the Facetite with Morpheus8 along with lipo. I asked for a fat transfer to my lips too. Might as well right?? I had this done a couple weeks later and I am going on day 4 post op. I was given a pain killer, Xanax and a shot of verced which helped a lot. I don’t sedate easily so I was awake and talking the whole time. It was really interesting. I felt no pain. At first a little discomfort but nothing major. And I’m a big baby! I knew it would be worth it. No pain no gain! So far so good as I’m only on the morning of day 4 and will have several updates. I just want to share my experience with you Updated on 30 Dec 2018: Still have swelling and the bruising is showing more. To be expected. Feeling is now starting to come back in my very numb cheeks. Skin is really tight which was the plan. I’m using my products and getting lots of rest, and not necessarily by choice The dreaded stomach bug got me and had me down all day! Not that I was going anywhere. I did get used to the tight garment by day 3 That was pretty annoying the first day. My lips are starting to crack no matter how much moisture I keep on them. But I try not to touch them too much. I want as much fat to “stick” as possible. Updated on 31 Dec 2018: Happy New Year’s Eve. Good bye 2018! Very numb and bruising is coming through and lips feel super weird and a little lumpy but hoping that settles down. But I’m still overall very positive Just hanging in there for now. Updated on 9 Jan 2019: So I’m 2 weeks out and things are looking better. Bruising has dramatically lessened but I do have some swelling and lumpiness in spots. My double chin was large and lots of lipo done and I read that’s to be expected. So I’m not letting it bother me... yet. I’m seeing my doctor tomorrow so I’m excited to find out how I’m doing and if the imperfections I see are normal. I will update tomorrow afterwards. Updated on 9 Jan 2019: Also notice the difference in my lips! I actually have some now. Was well worth doing the fat transfer!! Highly recommend if you’re having lipo and want some permanent volume. They have gone down a lot over these 2 weeks and I’m hoping most of this fat stays put now. We didn’t go crazy adding too much. I wanted natural looking lips. Fingers crossed they stay as they are. I have a couple small lumps that you can’t see from the outside that should go away over time. They worried me at first but they’re getting better. I just massage them as told by my doctor. So if you have this done be sure and massage the lumps if you get them.
I am so happy to have found Dr. Roth! I went to him due to a referral from a friend and after consulting with him and another doctor, who is number two in the country, I know Dr. Roth was the right doctor for me. His bedside manner is amazing, he listens to you and makes sure that you are comfortable and understand how the procedure and process works. His staff at West Ave Plastic Surgery is amazing, friendly and always helpful. I had never had surgery, so I had many question and concerns and wanted to make sure I went with the right doctor. I saw him many times to make sure I had all the answers. From the start I knew he was the doctor for me, even on the day of surgery I didn't feel nervous or worried because him team made me feel safe. Now I am three months post suegerys for breast augmentation surgery, and I am happy to say that I made the right decision going with him and I am extremely happy with my results!
So I've always had a double chin and after many doctors visits and research I decided on facetite. I had my procedure on July 9,2018. This is the beginning of my journey. Today is only Thursday, July 12,2018. I want to document since this website was so instrumental in my research. So far I'd give my Dr. an A+ , he's fantastic and comes highly recommended so if you are in the Houston area I highly recommend him (gave me his cell number, checked on me that night personally, office staff fantastic!). So about the procedure... It hurt. Not under my chin, but my cheeks. I have to disclose that I do have TMJ and grind regularly and being nervous before May have made this part more uncomfortable to me than others since I was already sore. First took the oral sedation, then the needle stick of tumescent numbing. This hurt like a wasp sting-3 places. Prick (not bad but as the fluid goes in it burns-- much like a wasp or bee sting). The procedure was as shown in you tube, then he went through with a small cannula to do mini lipo. He did each area until he was satisfied. Facetite wand thing, lipo, facetite wand thing, lipo, etc... Then they wrap you up, make your appt for follow up and head home. The pain that day was minimal maybe a 4? I went home and slept off the meds. Slept with my head elevated and drank lots of water. Updated on 13 Jul 2018: So I'm still swollen and bruised. My neck looks like I was strangled with something. I have no pain, still sleeping elevated, low salt diet, lots of water. Getting cabin fever though. It's difficult to smile or open my mouth very wide due to swelling (not pain). Using arnica, and ice, but very little difference in swelling. Even though I've done everything right I think it's the amount of energy used from what I can tell other research has shown and the amount of lipo that was done. I'll post pics in a bit. I'm comfortable, but impatient and excited to see the final result. Updated on 13 Jul 2018: July 13. 2018. Updated on 16 Jul 2018: So it's been exactly one week and I'm about to go in for my follow up and have my stitches out. My swelling is better and bruising is better, but slower healing than I hoped. Guess it's just me. Everyone else seems to bounce back early from this but not me! Here's what I've done right: no alcohol, wearing the lovely head strap, sleeping on pillows, lots of water. Some other things I've tried (not proven I know, but when you're desperate..l)-- arnica pills, arnica topical gel, pineapple, vitamin k foods etc... I feel fairly normal, no pain unless I touch my cheeks--then they're tender (brushing teeth, eating, yawning, laughing, etc...) The only thing that I think hinders my healing is lack of sleep. I try, but it's not comfortable sleeping on extra pillows , AND we have a new puppy that hates her crate. So your facetite journey may go quicker with better quality sleep. Updated on 22 Jul 2018: So I was asked to update and was going to wait until tomorrow but , no time like the present I guess. Tomorrow will mark 2 weeks. I should note that I am 49 years old. I see some progress each day. Mainly bruising and swelling subsiding. My doctor did warn me that most people swell more on one side that the other and that DID happen in my case as well. My doctor was also aggressive with my treatment so the results will be fantastic but the downside is more bruising initially--which I am fine with as long as I get the results that I want I can deal with that. No pain no gain right? The compression garment is awful. It's lots of Velcro and catches my hair, and the Velcro is sort of bulky to lie on and is uncomfortable. But again, not forever but something you should expect. I'm beginning to get tingling in my face. Parts are still numb and parts tingle where the facial nerves that were"stunned" during the procedure are waking back up. It feels just like a body part that has fallen asleep and is waking up. It's an oddly reassuring feeling that I am still healing and getting better. Updated on 9 Aug 2018: It's been a month and I am sadly not seeing much difference. I was hoping to real change since most do at this point. I am not in the immediate results club like some. Some reviews (and most doctors) say 6 weeks to 6 months is real timeframe so I will practice patience. I'm still tender washing my face and it still tingles. One side of my face is more swollen/lumpy than the other--jowl and under chin. I have seen other reviews regarding this also and it seems to resolve so I'm not worried. I will say the area under my chin feels empty-ish so I have to give it time for the skin to retract. Updated on 8 Oct 2018: So there is definitely a difference. Although not as great as I'd hoped. Results can take up to a year so there's that. At my follow up my Dr. Mentioned that many include fractora with this procedure and then results are faster and more dramatic. Guess who makes it? Inmode-same manufacturer of the facetite machine. I checked into it and results are mixed so I'm not comfortable with the risk. I do look better I think, but I don't know if I look 6k better and don't know if I'd do it again. Maybe would've been better off waiting and spending the money on a facelift in 10 years.
I’d give him 10 stars if that were an option. I met with several top surgeons in Houston to discuss my needs for an implant exchange with full lift. Dr Roth my was last consult, and honestly, I was a bit unsure about him because he doesn’t have very many online reviews and his prices are lower than the other surgeons I met. However, as soon as I met him and his nurses I knew he was the best surgeon for me. Dr Roth has great bedside manner, is very friendly, down-to-earth and easy to talk to. He is a perfectionist and did several measurements during out consultation and determined I needed not only a lift but a reduction to reach my goals of reducing my size from a 34ddd to a 34c. Surgery went great! I had both the doctor and the nurse’s cell phone number and when I had questions they answered immediately! I don’t know any other surgeons who make themselves so available to their patients. I’m a couple months post surgery and my breasts look even better than I expected. His incisions lines are tight and straight and alre fading very well. I’m 110% satisfied. Dr Roth will be my surgeon if I ever need anything else done.
Dr. Roth and his staff are very easy to talk to and answered every question/concern I had. They were literally a text/phone call away. My procedure was smooth and I am beyond happy with my results thus far. I'm two week post op. I had abdominoplasty and liposuction. I highly recommend Dr Roth and his team at West Ave Plastic Surgery and look forward to using him again.
Dr. Roth and his staff exceeded all my expectations outstanding service and, most importantly, outstanding results for my procedure. He is exceptionally compassionate, informative, and thorough, putting me completely at ease.
My experience couldn’t have been better! I was extremely pleased with Dr. Roth and his staff, and definitely, my results. I had a tummy tuck, breast lift, brow and lower eyelid surgeries earlier this year, and was so happy with my outcome, I scheduled an upper blepharoplasty (eyelid) a few months later. I love my results, and will note that I needed NO PAIN PILLS for the most recent surgery (and I am an extreme wimp!)... I had no pain or even slight discomfort. Coming from me, this is astounding! I highly recommend Dr Roth for both larger and smaller surgical procedures. Funny enough I went to Dr Roth for just "minor" botox (between the eyes, forehead only ... I had never had it/needed it anywhere else). My only regret is that I didn't do the breasts and tummy (loose lower stomach skin from two huge babies 30yrs ago) way sooner! 50ish, size zero, "natural" size 32DDD -- Dr Roth said I likely would be about a size smaller after the surgery, but I'm really not; I wear the same fabulous bras as before ---but the girls are where they are supposed to be now! They look so incredibly natural, my husband says exact same shape as when I was 20. Same with the tummy. I love having had my eyes done prior to major aging and wrinkling; I had noticed they were starting to look and feel "tired" ... now I expect to continue being mistaken for my sons' GF (creepy I know, but flattering still) or sister for years to come. Final thing I'll say beyond AMAZING results is the service I received from Dr Roth and staff. Before, during and after procedures. I am an "SVP" professional type with a very demanding work/travel schedule and responsibilities; Dr Roth and his team accommodated my needs for discretion and scheduling and service more than I can ever say! I couldn't have been more pleased with my entire experience. I've never responded on social media previously for anything (I even avoid FB/LI completely) ... but I couldn't let my experience w Dr Roth and his fantastic team go un-noted.
Dr. Roth is professional, caring, and has a wonderful bedside manner. He was there everyday for all my surgery and post surgery needs. He and his staff are wonderful. He carefully listened to all my concerns as a breast cancer survivor and individualized my care with great attention to detail. He was there for me day and night responding within 10 minutes to a emergency call for pain at night from his personal cell phone! I was so impressed with his care and his staff that I highly recommend him to anyone who needs plastic surgery whether it is for your reconstructive needs or for cosmetic reasons. Thank Dr. Roth for your advanced skills, professionalism and caring personality with your patients!
We can liposuction above and below the indentation, to level the surface of your abdomen. We call this “body contouring.” Our preferred treatment is BodyTite, which is a device to not only liposuction, but also tighten the skin. This procedure is performed while “awake,” in the comfort of our River Oaks clinic.
We can perform a partial capsulectomy, whereby we remove the lower part of your capsule. We routinely perform these in the comfort of our River of Clinic, while awake, under local anesthesia. The solution is not necessarily implant exchange, rather release of the soft tissue, causing the double bubble appearance.
Since your anatomy is normal and symmetrical, and you do not have breast ptosis, I do not think you’re at high risk of bottoming out. We perform our procedures under IV sedation, in the comfort & safety of our River Oaks clinic, in central Houston. We would love to see you for a consultation! If the sizes you chose look great over your current breasts while wearing a bra, I believe they will also look great after your procedure!
A mini-face and neck procedure will certainly address the skin laxity, improving your nasolabial folds, ans well ans jowel and excess neck skin. Volumizing will also help, and can be performed with fat grafting or filler. This procedure is commonly performed in our clinic in two hours, and performed while “awake!”
A breast augmentation certainly can improve or resolve an inverted nipple condition. However, in the event it doesn’t, an inverted nipple correction can be performed under local anesthesia, in the clinic, while awake.
