It's hard for me to take off work for a long period of time. I work for commissions so if I'm off work for a long time (many times ) I'll lose customers. So if I could take off a long time just one time i would lose money but not too much. And if there's a doctor willing to do that for me, how much would it cost for both procedures?

Answer: Tummy tuck and thigh lift Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you are a great candidate for a tummy tuck with liposuction. This can be done through a low and short incision, all completely below the bikini line. The belly button can be designed to look natural and have no scars on the exterior. Your muscles can also be plicated resulting in a flat abdomen. A thigh lift is certainly possible at the same time as a tummy tuck, but I would need to evaluate your thighs in person in order to determine the degree of laxity to see if a thigh lift would be the best option for you. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. Harvard-trained plastic surgeon

Answer: TT and Thigh Lift at the Same Time These procedures are commonly performed together. As long as you are in good physical health and have no overriding medical issues, you should be a good candidate. Thigh lift is a very satisfying procedure for me and my patients alike. There is no question that the thigh lift is a very worthwhile procedure in a patient who has skin laxity.Tummy tuck and an extended thigh lift usually take at least 6 weeks to heal. It is not uncommon to have prolonged wound healing with an extended thigh lift even in the fittest of patients with optimal nutrition and no health problems.Set up a virtual consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who has ELITE credentials, favorable patient reviews, loads of before and after photos on his or her website, and performs hundreds of these surgeries annually. You would need to be examined to determine the extent of surgery required.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
