Can I take prednisone after BBL and TT? Had a extended tummy tuck and Brazilian butt lift 6 days ago but my asthma has flared up

My inhalers aren't working well enough. My family doc said sometimes the tube inserted during surgery can irritate asthma and he gave me a 5 day course of Prednisone to take to clear it up but I'm scared it will interfere with my recovery.
