Is there a type of face lift that can be done through the mouth with no scars at all? (Photos)

While jowls can sometimes be helped by removing buccal fat through the mouth, most times, this procedure is performed for those with heavy faces.  Removal of fat in the normal or thin face can result in deformity as the patient gets older.

Silhouette InstaLift is a dissolvable suture with cones that is inserted through needle holes. It will most likely lift your jowls for 11/2 to 2 years without surgery, and requires little or no recovery.

It appears as though surgery might be overkill for you.  At your age, I would recommend a skin tightening laser called Reaction.  It uses radiofrequency waves to head the collagen leading to tighter skin and raised jowls.  Fillers can also be used with this.  We could discuss the benefits of each during a consultation.

I am not aware of any reliably successful facelift procedure that is done from the inside the mouth. At your age and from the photo you might do well with non-surgical skin tightening like the Viora Reaction.

Hello and thank you for your question.  The best advice you can
receive is from an in-person consultation.  If you are an appropriate candidate and if good technique is used, a facelift can be done with minimal scarring and can
result in a natural look, not over-done look, with rejuvenation of your
face.  Make sure you specifically look
at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery
performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The most important aspect
is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek
consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate
you in person.

I have not heard of a facelift that can be performed though the mouth without incisions. if you are looking for an incisionless procedure, then consider Ultherapy with facial fillers or consider buccal/cheek fat removal to further contour your face. That is performed with incisions through the mouth. 

Fads and gimmicks come and go. Facelift incisions if done well are hardly noticible. You may want to look into Ultherapy which I think is a great procedure. Good Luck!

Thank you for your question along with your photos. An in person consultation would be needed to determine which procedure is needed for your particular concerns. Other treatments could be used before resulting to a surgical procedure please discuss with your board certified plastic surgeon. A facelift done properly should leave minimal scaring. here are some tips to consider:1. Begin with a board certified plastic surgeon or facial plasitc surgeon and visit several offices.2. Seek a surgeon who does at least 100 facelifts per year. 3. Computer imaging can improve understanding the target result and assist in the discussion with your surgeon. 4. Have your surgeon take his/her time to use sutures instead of staples for the closure5. A ice water circulated Cool Mask makes the job easier for the care6.
