I would like to be a double to triple D in bras and currently I wear a 34 A. I am not sure if that is the bra I should be wearing because I never actually got sized but do you think a 600cc implant will make me a triple D in bras? I'm 20 years old, 5'5 1/2, 137 pounds.
Answer: Will a 600cc implant bring me to a DDD in a bra? Thank you for your question, every bra manufacturer manages different sizes, so you may be a different bra size in different brands. I would mostly advice since your getting large implants to visit several board certified plastic surgeons, this way you will be able to be evaluated in person so they can show you physically what might be the largest implant that will fit your body and most of us have sample implants in our office for us to show you how it would look placing the implant inside the bra, to show the level of fullness that you would achieve.Salvador Pantoja M.D.

Answer: Tripple D breast augmentation Dear Oceane, Thanks for submitting your pictures. From the pictures you appear to be a small A cup with mild ptosis. Since you are planing to have very large implants I would recommend adding a mini lift procedure to improve on the saggyness, because otherwise, the ptosis most likely will get worse immediately or over time. If indeed your chest circumference measurement is 34 inches, than 600 cc implants will bring you to 34 DD for regular bra or if you use Victoria secrets bra - 34 DDD. I hope that you know what you are getting yourself into. These will be unusually large breasts and the upper pole of the breasts will ride very high for a long time which will make them look unnatural for long time. You will have to do intense implants displacement massage in order to let the implants settle down. It might take 4-6 months or longer, for it to occure. As long as you understand it, you will do fine. Consult only with board certified plastic surgeons who operate in an accredited surgery center for your safety. Check the before and after pictures to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and you like them. Also, check the reviews for positive patients experience. Best of luck, Dr Widder

Answer: Going for a triple D breast Thank you for your pictures. I don't know 600 mL implant will give you a triple D breast cup size. Focus not on your cup size but your desired result. If it is at result is reasonable then a implant will be selected to me that result.

Answer: DDD cup with 600cc implant You may very well be a DDD cup with a 600cc implant. However, among bra manufactures the sizing for a DDD can be different. The best way to detemine the implant size you want would be to do sizing in the doctors office with implant manufacturer sizers. This will give you a very accurate visualization of what you will look like.

Answer: Will a 600 CC implant make me DDD? a 600cc implant likely will make you larger than a DDD. At your age, you do not have the option to have a silicon implants so you would be getting a saline implants. 600 CC is extremely large particularly for your first breast augmentation. I would suggest a serious conversation with a board certified plastic surgeon before going that large because the rate of complications is significantly higher with very large implants. Best of luck.

Answer: Will a 600cc implant bring me to a DDD in a bra? Thank you for the question and pictures. Based on your photographs, you are starting at a great place and should have a very nice outcome with breast augmentation surgery. In regards to specific size/profile of breast implant, despite good intentions, online consultants will not be able to provide you with meaningful specific advice. Ultimately, in person consultation with well experienced board-certified plastic surgeons will be necessary. Careful measurements, dimensional planning, and careful communication will be key. Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering breast augmentation surgery ( regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is: 1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work. 2. Again, have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining which operation and/or breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "DDD cup" etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. The use of computer imaging may be very helpful during this communication phase. 3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery. The use of temporary intraoperative sizers, viewing the patient's breasts in the upright and supine position, are very helpful during the breast implant selection process. I hope this, and the attached link (dedicated to larger breast augmentation outcomes), helps.
