I knew Dr. C was good. That is why I chose him. He still managed to excede my expectations! Staff is all wonderful and prompt. My results so far have been jaw dropping and I still have more recovery time. At 8 weeks out my scars on my breasts are barely visible. All of his sutures are internal or "invisible". He pays close attention to detail. He also listens. He knew exactly what I wanted and broutht it to life. I match my wish photos so well! Don't be turned off by his cost. He includes SO much! Even beyond just the surgery.
My experience with this doctor was incredible. I had surgery in January after extensive research. I wanted a tummy tuck and breast implants after having 4 children. I am a working mom and was concerned about recovery time and scarring and just time away from my family. After a few consultation I selected Dr. C because his attention to detail and his results. I was worried about that box look and fake belly button and also the huge implants some of the doctors do. I wanted to feel like I had my body again not some over done look. I loved my nurse Marie from the start. She is so kind and thoughtful and walked me through ever step. I can't believe how fast the recovery ended up. Now I just say a big old WOW when i see my stomach and fit into all the clothing I was hoping for. I am just so happy and so thankful.
I did a Class Tuck and SRF 365 silicone implants in January. I love everything about Dr. Campanile. He was an easy choice after my fall was spent researching and consulting with plastic surgeons in the Denver Metro region. I found his photos to be the best, especially with belly button and shape results. I thought at first he was more expensive since he is so specialized in tummy tucks and breast work - but then when i actually compared the pricing when I got quote for tummy tuck plus the liposuction - instead of the Class tuck which includes the liposuction, then I knew wow, I am lucky. My surgery day, I was so nervous. I even cried but my nurse was so nice and then Dr. Campanile was kind and even got me to laugh. He made my husband a coffee while he answered our questions. The first 5 days are a mystery, I don't really remember them. I was worried and my pictures were bad so they had me come in day after surgery, but there was nothing to worry about. Dr. Campanile is a perfectionist, you can just feel that when you see him at the visits. My wait times have not been long at follow ups and everyone is nice. My 6 month visit was this week and the pictures are everything I wanted. just like they showed me, but now I enjoy them since it is my body. I am very thankful for this man and this practice.
I had a mommy makeover with Dr. Campanile and team in March of 2023. It included a Class A Tummy tuck, breast lift, breast augmentation and liposuction. This is so overdue, but I had an incredible experience and am thrilled with my results. I did consultations with 3 other Denver based surgeons, but decided to do an additional consult with Dr. C after seeing the after photos on his website. I loved the way his tummy tucks included sculpting and a beautiful, natural shape that I hadn't seen from other surgeons. I initially only wanted to do a tummy tuck, but as the surgery got closer - the list got longer. :) Throughout the journey, I spoke extensively with Marie and McCall, both of whom were so professional, helpful, and made me feel comfortable. I think it's very easy to underestimate what a major surgery a tummy tuck is and all of the risks that come with it - I took so much comfort in working with such a highly specialized team. In my recovery, I often sent photos and called with lists questions and the team was always responsive, patient and reassuring. I also found Dr. C's bedside manner to be so wonderful. He was friendly, caring, and made both my husband and I feel at ease before and after the surgery. The morning of the surgery, in what could have been a really stressful moment- Dr. C. had my husband and I cracking up as he marked me up. Never did I think I could be giggling while standing naked in a room getting drawn on with a sharpie. In terms of my results - it's even better than I imagined and I think my pictures speak for themselves. I had severe diastasis recti from my 2 pregnancies and outside of the aesthetic difference - I've been amazed on the impact the muscle repair has made on my quality of life. I feel 20 years younger! Thank you Dr. C, Marie, McCall and the incredible team for taking such good care of me!
Excellent from the start to the finish. MM in December of 2023. Also at three months now. WOW everyday gets better. What questions do you have for me???? I am happy to help since it was so scary to take the big plunge into Plastic Surgery. I had a tummy tuck (CLASSY) and Fat moved into my boobs from my belly. Updated on 23 May 2025: I can't believe that it has been a year and half since my MommyMakeover. My life has changed so much for the better, having that bod back and better boobs makes me feel so much better in all aspects. I started back at the gym and now feel like a new and improved version. I am so thankful to Dr. C and Marie my nurse and everyone of them for helping me.
Dr. Campanelli and his team are top-notch professional, super compassionate and really care about their patients will definitely recommend, after my procedure, I received check-in calls on the regular, and every visit was pleasurable and treated with kindness.
Probably the best in his field! I did my research, basically ruled out any surgeon that does it all because I wanted one that focuses on "below-the-neck" procedures. Also spoke with my gynecologist (with whom I have a great rapport) and a GP before and both of them encouraged me to have the procedure with Dr. C. Currently I am 4 weeks post-op and very happy with the results. What is more important, it gave me the catalyst to continue with eating well and taking time for myself. Updated on 2 Apr 2023: Continue to recover and have more energy to write more. Dr. C's office provided some very comprehensive information on the recovery process but would like to share some personal experience. I am a side sleeper, and for the first three weeks needed to sleep in a "beach-chair" position. In retrospect, I wish I would have "practice" sleeping on my back a few weeks before the surgery. It was not bad during the first few days as I was so exhausted and a big drugged up. Between week 2 and week 3, as I am getting better, not being in my normal sleeping position and the lack of exercise made it difficult to have restful sleep. Another thing that is a bit embarrassing that nobody talked about was it took me a couple weeks to be able to twist and clean myself after going to the bathroom without feeling like putting a lot of tension on the incision. I ordered one of those tools for elderly/obese people online (yes, there is such a thing - wish I bought it BEFORE the surgery). It may be just me, but something to consider in your preparation for tummy tuck ... The procedure continues to motivate me to eat well and somehow I feel like my stomach has shrunk. On the day of surgery my BMI was 26.5 and is now down to 23.7.
This is a very professional office. The doc never made me feel uncomfortable and no shame on my breast implant size. The staff is so seasoned, they are very smart. The staff is kind and happy. Now, I have read many reviews and no one ever discussed how serious this surgery is. How freaking painful it is 24/7. How you need to be prepared for a month of very little activity! It sucks. I feel miserable all the time. Most people that it helps to stay on top of your meds, but they don’t tell you that you still feel like hell. I almost wanted the implants out just to get some relief. I have high pain tolerance but this one is tough! Your breasts feel like they are going to explode all the time and it’s worse at the end of the day or if you do too much. Ugh!!! Updated on 26 Mar 2022: I’m 5 weeks out. Still feeling awful but not as often. Can’t sleep. I’m a side sleeper and I know my lower back is all jacked up from sleeping crazy. Can do more things with arms but I’m wiped out by the end of the day. All tape is off and stocked trimmed ) hurt like heck to trim them). I was told I have to wear a bra 24/7 for at least another 2 months . But they prefer another 4 months. *sigh. I purchased a couple of good bras. My girls are looking good, wish they could be bigger but I know the recovery would’ve killed me. Updated on 4 May 2022: I am not sure I even believe most of the reviews on here. They claim the doctor this and that. Well I’ve seen my doctor face-to-face 3 times. The rest of the time his staff has dealt with me. Which is fine. I’m just painting it out. I am 11 months out. My breast are beginning to look like breasts and not like square mangled boxes. Stitches are still popping out and they hurt! They catch on my bra and it feels like the skin is being torn off. I still have scabs around my nipples. I can’t begin scar treatment, can’t workout fully, can’t sleep without the bra. I am able to sleep on my sides again, which is a relief. I am happy that I see the end coming. I do like them more now. Haha Updated on 21 May 2022: Feeling better. Still feel swollen. Have stiches poking out, still have scabs, nipples still numb and still having to wear the bra 24/7. They are looking good! Wishing I could work out because my tummy and thighs are getting so soft. I had buff arms too. I have my follow up next week. They will check the pockets and update my restrictions. Updated on 20 Jul 2022: I’m glad I had this done. It has been a long journey. I am on month 5. Still have scabs, fullness feeling and sharp random pain. One nipple still has zero feeling the other a little feeling. They said this could take up to a year to change. Moving forward.
It has been almost 9 months since my tummy tuck and breast augmentation with a small lift. I can only say that I am thankful for the surgery and process of going through all of this. I went through a painful divorce and was really struggling to get back to myself when looking at my new life as a single mom. I was feeling exhausted and not confident - I saw a good friend at the gym who seemed to have a true transformation and she referred me to Campanile. And I am so thankful for it. I liked the office from the first visit. It was a long wait but after my appointment I did understand why. The staff was great at letting me know what I was getting into and the doctor was a true professional every time I turned around I was happy with the experience. I am now living my best life - and loving everything about my body. I am so thankful and will not regret taking that turn
I am and will always be thankful to Dr Companile for the extremely outstanding results. Dr Companile boosted my confidence in my body. He really listened to my mommy makeover needs and even went an extra mile and enhanced other things. My surgery was pretty extensive and involved a bilateral breast reduction and lift, CLASS Tummy Tuck, muscle repair and perfectly sculpted liposuction. He gave me the perfect hourglass shape, flat stomach, perky breasts and front thighs lift. I also like how he cares about my safety and closely assessed my medical history and blood work. His anesthesia doctor is a top rated medical provider and my general anesthesia went way better than I expected. I woke up with no pain, no nausea and no drowsiness. The nurses were super caring and were checking on me all the time since I spent the night at Dr Companile’s clinic as my surgery was long. We all sometimes meet people in our lives who change our life for the better! Dr Companile positively changed my life thanks to his high quality, high caliber and extremely high precision plastic surgery skills. When I wake up every single morning, I open my eyes and look at my body and just can’t believe looking at my perfectly sculpted body. Every time I go to Dr Companile’s clinic for my post-op visits, I just keep looking at his hands because he is a true human body transformation and sculpting artist. Saying that he is a plastic surgeon is a complete under statement. Dr Companile is a true artist who knows what he’s doing, who’s very passionate about the quality of his work and who genuinely cares for his patients’ safety and happiness. Thank you Dr Companile for giving a dream body. No words can ever describe how talented you are. I am and will always be thankful to you for everything you have done. Thank you so much.
The cost of breast augmentation can vary widely depending on factors like location, the surgeon’s experience, and the specific details of your procedure. Keep in mind that facility fees, anesthesia, and follow-up care all factor into the total as well. Without knowing all the specifics, in the Denver market where I'm located, a comprehensive package around $13,500 is within the range of what board-certified plastic surgeons may charge. While price is a consideration, the most important factors are the surgeon’s credentials, training, safety record, and your comfort with their approach and philosophy. Many surgeons now offer financing or payment options to help make quality care more affordable, so you might inquire about these options at your consultation.
At 6 months after 360-degree liposuction, it’s still normal to notice some swelling, and it can vary from day to day depending on things like activity and diet. It can take up to 12 months for all residual swelling to diminish and final results to shine through. Consistent use of your compression garment as directed by your doctor, light walking, and staying hydrated all support this process.
It’s completely normal to feel more swollen by day 4. This is when fluid shifts and inflammation typically peak after liposuction. This stage can make you look or feel “puffier,” but this is part of the normal healing process. Over the next several weeks and months, swelling should continue to improve and your results should continue to develop. Consistently wearing your compression garment, taking short walks to promote circulation, and elevating treated areas when possible all help to reduce swelling.
Swelling after liposuction of the lower back can be persistent, as this area tends to hold fluid longer than others. While some improvement is usually visible within the first few weeks, it often takes 3 to 4 months for the swelling to fully resolve and final results to become apparent. Wearing your compression garment as directed is one of the best ways to minimize swelling. Gentle activity and proper hydration can also support recovery and help with swelling.
While most patients see the majority of swelling resolve within 6 months, it isn’t unusual for some people to experience lingering fullness even 10 months after liposuction. It can take 12 to 18 months for your final result to fully develop and for all residual swelling to diminish. That said, persistent swelling at this stage can sometimes reflect scar tissue (fibrosis), residual fat, or fluid retention rather than simple post-op swelling. A follow-up exam with your surgeon is the best way to determine whether what you’re seeing is within the normal healing spectrum or if any intervention is necessary.
