I had 535cc uhp round smooth silicone implants places march 3rd 2017 and i have bottomed out so my surgeon is doing a revision i have my consultation feb 15th but would like to know what to expect
Answer: Internal bra options An internal bra adds a layer of support for implants or breast tissue that has sagged. I use Strattice or Galaflex mesh. there is some expense with these materials but less than the cost of having to have a 3rd surgery for a repair that failed.

Answer: How is the internal bra preformed? And how is the healing process? I am sorry to hear about the complications you have experienced. Please do not let the semantics cause undue concern; the "internal bra" refers to a procedure where the breast implant capsule is "tightened up" (capsulorraphy). In other words, the space around the breast implant is decreased in volume, thereby preventing movement of the breast implants into undesirable directions (for example bottoming out, lateral displacement, or symmastia). Sometimes, depending on the situation, additional supportive materials such as acellular dermal matrix or biosynthetic mesh may also be helpful. For your own peace of mind, clarify with your plastic surgeon exactly what is planned and what his/her success rate is with this type of revisionary breast surgery. Best wishes for a successful outcome that you will be very pleased with.

Answer: Internal bra breast revision and bottoming out The concept of an "internal bra" can refer to many different techniques designed to support breast implants. Bottoming out in general is caused by lack of support to the bottom of the breast and muscular forces at the top of the breast in dual-plane or submuscular breast augmentation. This is why I do not perform these techniques. Years ago there was a rise in placing scaffolding products to hold the implants however these products are not only expensive, they commonly cause big problems. Other surgeons call suturing the capsule together an "internal bra" but this is rarely effective. These are the reasons I use a technique called Cold-Subsubfascial Breast Augmentation which elevates the strong fascia of the chest muscle and uses it as a sort of living bra to shape and support the breast. Since the muscle is left in place on the chest wall, it does not exert downward forces on the implants and the muscle cannot cause bottoming out. I recommend changing to a subfascial plane and selecting lower profile implants ( the size can be similar but the width should be greater and projection lower. I hope this helps!Al the best,Rian A. Answer: Internal bra An internal bra just means that a synthetic product is placed internally to help support the breast. This can be an ADM or a product like galaflex.

Answer: Internal Bra Hello, Thanks for a nice question. Internal bra is a kind of net made out of a dis solvable substance that comes in several sizes and shapes and also as sheets. This is secured around the sagging implant to your chest wall to keep the implants in place. Healing and recovery are same as for breast implant around 10 days all healed. I hope you can find the right surgeon to do it for you. I wish you all the best. Professor Dr Ashok Govila FRCS (Glasgow), MS, FAIS, M.Ch.
