I have been seeing Dr. Long for a few years now, she's absolutely amazing! I've been battling hormonal acne for what feels like an eternity, but Dr. Long helped me find the right treatment, and in months, it has made a big improvement. I'm very fortunate to have her as my dermatologist!
Dr. Long has all of the latest attachments and cutting edge tools when it comes to CoolSculpting. I did CoolScuplting at another doctor's office in town and it took twice the time and the doctor rarely applied the attachment. Dr. Long is always present and very detail-oriented when placing the device. She knows what she's doing and I've seen great results, with 5 inches lost around my waist, this year.
Dr. Long has a great eye for creating a natural look with Botox. She knows when to stop and where to add more so I look natural and refreshed, rather than frozen or plastic. She's the best I've visited, and will continue to see, in Cincinnati.
Six weeks from my wedding, Dermatologist Lana Long and her City Derm & Laser team treated my stomach, chin and back. My goal was to rock a fitted cocktail dress, and I'm pleased to say I did! The most dramatic result is in my belly, followed by my chin. Dr Long is my regular dermatologist, I'm nearly 60, and eat well and exercise moderately. All the staff in a their office have tried the procedure. Their consultation did address the discomfort described by some; I was one who did experience several days of pain. The staff described it as nerve pain; to me, it seemed more like freezer burn on the inside and was concentrated in my midsection. That said, the results so far have been good enough that I'd consider repeating the procedure if I could afford it. I have pictures, but they aren't in a format I can save here. I'll try to add them later.
I didn't have the biggest double chin but what bothered me, is my face kind of blended into my neck. In the photos below I have had my 1st double chin procedure and I love my results. I have to go and get my second procedure still- as it is a 2 treatment protocol. However, the office discounts the second procedure because it is necessary. The treatment was easy! And wasn't painful at all. I had no bruising or swelling- I didn't even have any redness!! I loved it and can't wait to do more.
You are not over blowing this. If you are not comfortable with the first person always get a second opinion. The tear trough is considered a high risk area and you need to see an experienced board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon. Check out the website, the doctors training and look at their before and after photos. Lana Long MD
It is very common to get swelling after lip filler, and usual peaks the day after filler is placed. Keeping ice on the area will help decrease the swelling. In the rare event your filler is uneven, it can be dissolved at 2 weeks. So relax, I bet you will love the results soon Lana Long MD
I think your lips look good. The upper lip is naturally M shaped in most people, if overfilled you get the dreaded sausage shaped lip. Go back to see the doctor who did the injection, and I bet the before photos show the same M shape. If still unhappy, there are ways to tweak the results. Good luck. Lana Long MD
Filler is a great idea for you. It can be placed in the marionette fold to elevate the corners of your mouth. I would use a hyaluronic acid based filler because it can be dissolved in the rare event of a complication, one from the Juvederm or Restylane family. Make sure to go see a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon who does a lot of fillers. I think you will love the results. Lana Long MD
I would place the majority of the filler in the cheek. Revolumizing this area often causes enough lift to improve the NLF. If the fold is still evident afterwards, I will inject a small amount there. 1 syringe should give you nice results. Make sure you see an experienced board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon.
