Thank you for your question and for sharing your photographs. In general, when the nasal tip skin is moderately thick, even with good efforts to narrow the appearance of the tip, the results can appear relatively subtle after the intervention. Computer simulations and actual surgical outcomes are not an exact match, and surgery does not produce highly accurate results compared to the designs.

However, it is feasible to change the contours of your nasal tip along the lines that you are describing. If you are changing the appearance in profile, it is likely that the highlight on the tip of the nose would be positioned higher up as seen from the front view.

Based on your photos, you appear to have relatively thick nasal skin and the lower 1/3 of your nose appears to be relatively flat and wide. Rhinoplasty techniques may be utilized to achieve narrowing of the lower third of your nose along with nasal tip rotation. Please consider meeting with several reputable rhinoplasty specialists who offer computer Imaging so you could see what to expect after well performed surgery. Thank you for your question. Your nasal tip could be refined and your nostrils narrowed by a procedure called alar wedge excision. I think this would give your nose a more refined appearance overall

There are two reasons cause your complains about your nose tip. Biggest issue about your nose lack support. The second is hypertrophic nasal wings. You need more support and projection for your nose tip to see it more slimmer. Also need and intervention for wings

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty. Your surgeon can accomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your lower nose. Cartilage grafts may also be used to help improve tip refinement. I highly recommend that my patients focus much more on real longterm before and after photographs rather than 3D imaging.   I encounter so many patients in my practice who see me for revision rhinoplasty who previously had surgery elsewhere who feel like they were mislead into surgery by surgeons who relied heavily on 3D imaging without adequate real before and after pictures to back it up. Photoshop is easy but real surgery is very different.

I always recommend that you carefully evaluate your surgeon’s online before and after gallery on their website for both quality and quantity of results. Make sure that there are hundreds of real before and after pictures which demonstrate long-term follow up results. If your surgeon is posting mostly on table results without real long-term follow up results, that is usually a major red flag. If a surgeon is posting mostly just splint removal day videos without longterm follow-up pictures, that can also be a red flag. Long-term results are much more meaningful than on table results or 1 week post-op results.

With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

As far as I can understand from your question, I can recommend rhinoplasty and alar base plasty for this, but if you can send 2 photos in a better light from the front and side profile, it will be possible to make a more accurate evaluation.

A closed rhinoplasty approach can accomplish narrowing your nasal bones, and slightly refining the nasal tip. Thick skin in the nasal tip area is going to prevent much refinement in that area. An alar plasty can accomplish narrowing wide nostrils.
