Hi,I don't know where to start, but I'm so conscious about my nose, I won't look in a mirror, have photos taken, loved the rules of wearing face masks, because I was hidden. I'm 51,female,4ft 11,weigh 7.7stone, I know the end of my nose has got bigger, it's got a deep groove, going across, about 1-2cm above the tip of my nose, then the groove in the middle goes right underneath. It feels like a ball of fat, I can't feel any bone. I've had 2 comments in 3 days

You have what is termed a boxy tip due to the shape of your lower lateral cartilages. This is fixed by reduction of the alar cartilages and sutures to reshape them.

You are a candidate for a rhinoplasty and septoplasty. This will refine the tip and correct the septal deviation. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Based on your photos, you appear to have very thin skin which is showing some congenital asymmetries of your nasal tip cartilages. The best way to deal with your wide and asymmetrical nasal tip appearance, from our 25-year experience, is to visit with several reputable rhinoplasty specialists who offer computer Imaging. I hope this helps and thank you for your question. Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Thank you for your question. You are an excellent candidate for rhinoplasty, I think it is one of the most beautifying surgeries that we do as plastic surgeons. A large portion of my practice is dedicated to rhinoplasty surgery. It is important to only see plastic surgeons with extensive experience in rhinoplasty, ie perform at least 6 per month and have performed hundreds of cases. Also, critically evaluate on-line galleries to see if their art form resonates with yours. Rhinoplasty is definitely a grey haired plastic surgeon's sport. Best wishes to you.

Hello and thank you for your question. Your photographs are difficult to visualize, but generally speaking, you would benefit from nasal tip refinement and tip deprojection to improve their overall appearance and support of your nasal tip. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
