Thank you for your question. Looking at the photos you have provided I would suggest doing a tummy tuck first. This will allow your Surgeon to tighten up abdominal wall muscles and remove the extra skin. Before surgery I would recommend going on a low carb diet and exercise to help reduce the intra abdominal fat. I would also suggest seeing a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in person to evaluate you and discuss your options. Best of luck to you.
Hello and thank you for your question. It looks like you may be a candidate for a tummy tuck with possible liposuction . Schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options. Best wishes!
Thanks for your question. From your picture and you seem to be a good candidate for a tummy tuck. At my practice, the tummy tuck includes muscle repair. Being as close to your ideal weight is always recommended. I suggest scheduling a consult for a proper evaluation. Always consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Take care, Moises Salama MD, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
Based on your picture, you may be a candidate for a staged procedure. The first may consists of a full abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) with muscle plication if your muscles are loose and contributing to the appearance of your protruding abdomen. 6-12 months later you may benefit from having strategic liposuction of your abdomen, flanks, upper/middle/lower back, and other areas of concern.A virtual or in person consultation with a Tummy Tuck specialist will provide you an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully,Brandon Richland, MD
Hi there, thanks for your question! Based on your photo I think you would be a better candidate for a tummy tuck. If you do the 360 lipo you will likely be left with skin laxity.I reccomend a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss. Hope that helps!
Dear Virginian, Thanks for posting your picture, though addition side view picture would have been helpful. From observing your picture, you appear to have skin and abdominal muscles laxity from the chest bone to the pubic bone. Such anatomy will benefit from standard Tummy tuck surgery, which will flatten your stomach, narrow your waist, improve your posture and most likely will help you to lose weight due to the abdominal muscles tightening that will reduce the amount of food that you can eat and your sense of hunger. Liposuction will just remove fat without the additional benefits mentioned above. Always, consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeons who operate in accredited surgery center for your safety. Most importantly, check the before and after picture of tummy tuck in the photo gallery, to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and attractive. Best of luck, Dr Widder widderplasticsurgery.com
Dear Polite 3529, Thank you for your question. After analyzing your case I can say you're a good candidate for 360 lipo + Tummy Tuck + BBL. I'm sure those procedures will give you an amazing result! Make sure you go on consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon. Hope this helps and best of lucks. Dr. Luis Mejia.
There are usually three different methods to address the abdominal contour. This includes liposuction alone, mini tummy tuck with liposuction, or classic abdominoplasty with liposuction. If one has overhanging lower abdominal skin, overhanging the belt line or a cesarean section scar for example, it is unlikely that liposuction alone will create a flat abdomen. During evaluation, your surgeon will assess both the lower abdominal skin and also the upper abdominal skin. If one has laxity of the upper abdominal skin, a classic abdominoplasty may be in order. Also as part of the evaluation is the looseness of the underlying muscle layer and also the amount of fat tissue deep in your abdomen around your organs. Obviously an abdominoplasty is a bigger procedure than liposuction and leaves a permanent scar. However, for many with overhanging skin and fat, a classic abdominoplasty is indicated. In my practice this always includes the liposuction portion of the procedure but this is not true for all practices and should be discussed with your surgeon at consultation.
Hi there and thank you for your question: Curious if I could do lipo 360 to get rid of stomach or do I need a tummy tuck? By examing your photo, you have excess skin AND fat. I believe you would have optimal results by combining liposuction with a tummy tuck. This could either be done in the same procedure or in staged surgeries. You could also use your fat for a BBL if you wish. If you were to just do liposuction, you would be left with excess skin of the abdomen. Another benefit of the tummy tuck is that you will get muscle plication which is when we stitch up your abdominal muscles to take off 4-6 inches off of the waist (giving you an hourglass figure). I hope this helps answer your question regarding if you need liposuction or a tummy tuck.If you have any more questions regarding a tummy tuck, lower body lift, 360 circumferential lower body lift, belt lipectomy, belt abdominoplasty, or belt dermolipectomy please contact my office. Since the body lift is a big procedure, please seek an experienced, board-certified plastic surgeon with significant experience performing the lower body lift. Do your research. Make sure they have performed at least 100 tummy tuck or circumferential lower body lift surgeries and have the before and after pictures to prove it. Carefully examine their before and after pictures and check their reviews on RealSelf. If you cannot find an experienced, tummy tuck or lower body lift surgeon in your neighborhood, consider traveling out of state if you must. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen. Hello @Polite3529, thank you for your question. In my opinion as part of your surgical plan I suggest you take into account to have a tummy tuck and liposculture 360. Each procedure serves a different purpose, a tummy tuck is a surgical procedure that removes excess skin and fat from the middle and lower abdomen and strengthens the abdominal muscles, in which there is abdominal lipolysis, abdominal diastasis repair, skin removal with umbilical reconstruction depending on each case. On the other hand liposculture we take out fat from all parts of the body to make it more harmonious. The two procedures combine will give you the best results. Is important that you consult consult with several board certified plastic surgeon. If you are considering surgery, consultation with a plastic surgeon who is experienced in this procedure is essential to ensure optimal results. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS.
