Tummy tuck or J-Plasma or loose skin & 3 fingers abs split? (Photos)

Question

I’m planning to have my tummy fixed after 2 kids. The 2nd child was c-section I have loose skin and about 3 fingers abs split. I was recommended for jplasma over tummy tuck. What do you think please. I’m very active, exercise every day but I can’t get rid of the loose skin.

Based on your pictures you may be an excellent candidate for a full tummy tuck in order to address the excess skin that is contributing to the appearance of irregularities and dimpling on your abdomen. While Renuvion J Plasma is effective at tightening skin through its effect on collagen contraction on the treated areas, it does have its limitations. The tummy tuck can include muscle plication to tighten your abdominal muscles and help give the appearance of a flatter abdomen in order to address your "3 fingers abs split".

Thank you for your question regarding if J-Plasma will work in place of a tummy tuck. By examining your pictures, your issue is excess skin. Not excess fat. J-Plasma may have some skin tightening qualities but it won't fix a majority of your problems. I recommend a tummy tuck with muscle plication. Most plastic surgeons include muscle plication with their tummy tucks. Muscle plication is when we permanently suture the abdominal muscles to bring in the waistline by 4-6 inches. This will help with a distended tummy after pregnancy.

I hope this helps answer your question regarding whether j-plasma will suffice or if you are better suited for a tummy tuck. Your pictures tell the story! Liposuction can provide some skin retraction. However, it primarily removes far and is more of a body contouring tool. It doesn’t primarily remove extra skin. However, a tummy tuck is designed to remove extra skin! We can usually remove all of the skin between your belly button and c-section scar. Additionally, only the tummy tuck will close that separation between your abdominal muscles. The recovery between the two procedures is different. So this is an important consideration as well. Thank you for your question.   I can see why with your fitness you are trying to avoid surgery.  Non- surgical therapy may help a bit but only a full tummy tuck will repair the muscle and completely eliminate the loose skin.  Hope this helps.
