I don't see many stories about fixing Buffalo Humps. Do I go to a general plastic surgeon? Most surgeons do mostly breasts, tummy tucks and butt lifts. Facial surgeons I see do only face , eyelid, and front of the neck lifts. I'm in FL and only see one Dr in Southernmost of the state that has 2 examples. After just looking at his website, not leaving my email, I was bombarded with email from his practice. Big turn off there. I'd like to get consults, but how do I choose?

It may be related to excessive, prolonged use of corticosteroids or medical condition that results in increased level of corticosteroid in the body. Surgical treatment consists of hump removal by means of liposuction, in some cases when fat tissue is very fibrous, direct excision of hump may be needed. Answer: Research Generally speaking, buffalo hump is an uncommon area for lipo. I did a buffalo hump liposuction this past week but they are few and far in between. Any surgeon who is good at liposuction should be petty comfortable doing buffalo hump liposuction
