Thanks for your question. You can get a BBL without fat transfer to the hips area. However, it is difficult to tell what can be achieved for you without reviewing your pictures. I suggest submitting your pictures for an evaluation and consulting with a board certified plastic surgeon who has extensive BBL experience.Take care,Moises Salama M.D., Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
Great question! No you don't necessarily need to place fat to the hips. It all depends on your ultimate goal. I would say bring photos of your desires to your consultation and your surgeon will be able to help guide and provide recommendations to achieve this.Best of luck and hope this information helps!- Dr. Roger Tsai @DrRogerTsaiBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon
You can certainly retain the narrow high hips, but you and your PS should discuss the fact that narrowing the waist and widening the hip enhances the buttock. The result can be dramatic even from the front view.
Dear Fabulous6322,Fat transfer to hips is not a must if the patient doesn't want it. You can get fat transfer to buttocks in order to get the desired shape. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Thank you for your questions. With fat transfer to the buttocks, you can customize the transfer to add volume where you want it. There are some limitations in what can be achieved, but you can discuss that with your plastic surgeon and make sure he or she is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.Best of luck!Dallas R. Thanks for your question. When planning a Brazilian butt lift, patients can look forward to a double benefit: reducing areas of unwanted fat while gaining a perkier, rounded posterior. Each procedure must be planned according to the individual needs of patients, harvesting fat from target areas of the torso, thighs or knees and transferring it to create smooth, attractive contours optimized for each person. That said, you definitely have to choose your surgeon correctly and make sure that he/she has the training and experience to meet your goals with absolute safety. Best is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with specialized expertise in this procedure.
Hello and thank you for your question. Typically, BBL involves liposuction of the abdomen, hips, back and sometimes thighs for transferring the fat to buttocks. I would seek consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon for a complete evaluation and advice. Best,
Hello dear!!Thanks for the question and provided information as well. It depends on your body type. Unfortunately, without pictures, it is very difficult to give you a proper answer. l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.Good luck :)
A BBL will look natural if it's done correctly. Some people need volume added to their hips while others don't. There's no such thing as doing it's a single way to create a more natural appearance. There are basic concepts like blending, staying at within reasonable parameters and using good technique that help deliver consistent results. A significant part of why women lack gluteal volume is based on curvature of the spine or lack there of not necessarily always fat distribution. The shape of the pelvis also contributes a great deal to the shape of the buttocks. Avoid simplistic approach us to complex problems. A provider either knows what they're doing or they don't. If they know what they're doing they will recommend an appropriate procedure and execute correctly. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
