Will your BBL look more natural if you don't add fat to hips?

Is it really necessary to add fat to the hips? I have small narrow high hips..I like being thin..just want some bubble to my butt.

You can get a BBL without fat transfer to the hips area. However, it is difficult to tell what can be achieved for you without reviewing your pictures. I suggest submitting your pictures for an evaluation and consulting with a board certified plastic surgeon who has extensive BBL experience.

You can certainly retain the narrow high hips, but you and your PS should discuss the fact that narrowing the waist and widening the hip enhances the buttock. The result can be dramatic even from the front view.

Fat transfer to hips is not a must if the patient doesn't want it. You can get fat transfer to buttocks in order to get the desired shape. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

A BBL will look natural if it's done correctly.  Some people need volume added to their hips while others don't.  There's no such thing as doing it's a single way to create a more natural appearance.  There are basic concepts like blending, staying at within reasonable  parameters and using good technique that help deliver consistent results. A significant part of why women lack gluteal volume is based on curvature of the spine or lack there of not necessarily always fat distribution.  The shape of the pelvis also contributes a great deal to the shape of the buttocks.  Avoid simplistic approach us to complex problems.  A provider either knows what they're doing or they don't. If they know what they're doing they will recommend an appropriate procedure and execute correctly.  Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
