A year ago I used Phentermine pills for weight loss. I didn't have any complications or discomfort.. My current weight is 200 pounds and my goal is 180 pounds. I've changed my diet to plant-based Foods and have been exercising but I still would like my butt to be a bit rounder. However, if there's any chance of complication I do not want to risk it.

Answer: Preoperative protocol Dear rtempleton, if you ahve reached your goal weight and don't use pills anymore, there should be no issues. But every plastic surgeon has his own preoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon. Answer: Would taking Phentermine pills for weight loss in the past disqualify me from having a BBL? In my practice I just ask patients to stop phentermine 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after surgery. It is best to ask your PS what they recommend.
