If you like, you can have the lipoma removed if it is causing issues at the same time as the BBL.is recommended if you discuss all about the case with your plastic surgeon on the consultation.

Dear Tyson2,It is hard to tell for sure without an examination but a small lipoma probably won't be a contraindication for BBL surgery. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Hello and thank you for the question. I don't see any contra-indication to do a BBL in this situation. The lipoma can be dealt with, depending on the size and location. You should seek consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon for a full evaluation and advice. Best.
Thank you for your question. A gluteal lipoma is not a contraindication to having a BBL. I would make sure you have someone examine it to confirm that it is in fact a lipoma. Make sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who practices SSBA(Safe Subcutaneous Butt Augmentation) to ensure your safety and and optimal outcome.
having a lipoma will not affect the ability to have a BBL. Weather a BBL is a safe procedure is a different discussion. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
BBL can be done safely for you. the lipoma can either be removed at the same time, or if it doesn't hurt you or it is not visible, then you can leave it alone. If you are a good candidate for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), the optimal outcomes are achieved with: 1) use of VASER liposuction to harvest the fat, 2) a closed looped system such as Puregraft to process the fat, and 3) strategic micro-packet transplant technique. These three processes have demonstrated over 95% fat graft take. This means that your results will be stable as long as you maintain your weight. As an official VASER trainer, I am routinely referred unhappy BBL patients. One of the most common reasons for disgruntled BBL patients is that patients are not able to accurately communicate their desired buttocks goals to their surgeons. A buttocks assessment tool can be an invaluable tool to communicate to your surgeon the exact buttocks size and shape you are desiring. A Skype or FaceTime consultation with a BBL specialist can help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully,Arian Mowlavi MD,FACSRealself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee
The lipoma of your buttock should not interfere with a BBL. The lipoma may even be able to be removed at the same time. You should consult with a Board Certified PS with lots of experience performing a BBL. Good luck!
Hello. Good question. Yes, it is safe to combine both surgeries at the same time. Please contact a board certified plastic surgeon.
Thank you for your question! Taking phentermine in general does not disqualify you from having surgery. For my patients having any procedure, I advise that they stop taking weight loss medications 2 weeks prior to and 3 weeks post surgery. I recommend discussing specific medication questions ...
You are less likely to get a fat embolism if fat is injected to just your hips. What is important in this scenerio is does your hip dip continue into the lateral buttocks. If so, you may not get that smooth look if all the "dip" is not corrected.
