Hi! Once filler (Juvederm, Restylane) is injected how long does lidocaine stay in your skin? Does it stay as long as the filler lasts or dissolve before then? Thank you!

Answer: Lidocaine Lidocaine is used during antesthesia. Lidocaine won't stay on your body a long time. İt will dissolve in two hours.

The amount of lidocaine in filler is so small that you generally have most of your sensation back an hour post injection. It certainly does not last as long as the filler does, which can be anywhere from 6-18 months.
