The swelling has dissapeared but theres still a sustainable lump under my chin when will that dissapear?
Answer: Swelling after kybella injections The initial swelling after Kybella lasts 3-5 days and can be quite significant. However, persistent hardness and nodularity can be present for several weeks after treatment depending on the amount of fat and the amount of kybella injected. Persistent nodules can be injected with steroid solution and treated with anti-inflammatory medications. Best advice is to contact the physician who injected it and return to be evaluated. Any residual swelling following Kybella injections will often take several weeks to fully dissipate.(4-6 on average) The process of Kybella’s acidic properties is to destroy the fat cells. Lumpiness can be common as the swelling begins to go down. It should resolve in time. However if the lumpiness does not decrease in size, discuss it with your provider.

It often takes 6-8 weeks for the swelling to go away completely, so try to be patient. Without pre-procedure photos, it is hard to say if you were a good candidate or what kind of result you should expect. If the area is warm and tender, then you need to be seen to make sure there is not an infection.Best of luck!

Answer: Will the lump go away after Kybella? Once swelling goes away you should not have a lump. It's best you see your Dr to make sure you haven't developed an infection.
