I hear you see your final results at 3 months then people say 6months can somebody tell me which is it I’m 3.5 months post op still wearing my faja everyday 24/7 so when will I see final results

It is still too soon to tell what your final results will be. You have swelling, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. Tisha. I appreciate your concern, however it takes at least 4 to 6 months for full recovery and complete resolution of swelling after aggressive Liposuction surgery. Try to stay patient and follow up with your plastic surgeon. Good luck.

  It’s a pleasure to answer your questions! Liposuction maximum results will take up to 6 months. After a BBL procedure, patients are required to wear their specialized compression garments around the clock (except for showering), immediately after surgery, for approximately 6 months. The skin retraction and swelling after surgery typically would occur up to 6 months. In order to have uniform skin retraction during that six months, I recommend wearing these compression garments up to that time. Since ill-fitting garments can lead to contour irregularities, I advise my patients about the correct method of using them, to limit folds and creases in the garments, and regularly check if they are worn properly. Usually, it takes around 6 months to fully heal from a liposuction surgery. You may still be experiencing swelling, bruising, and slight pains. All these will resolve as you heal through the coming months. At 3 months, you are already halfway healed, but the healing rate varies from patient to patient. Some recover faster than the others, while some experienced delayed healing. Thus it would be difficult to give an exact timeline for your body to fully heal. Regularly follow up with your surgeon and be a little more patient with your results.

Tisha,At 3.5 months, you are about 90+% healed.  You will still see some smoothing and maybe a little bit more of thinning between now and 2.5 more months.  I allow patients to lose the garment after 4 weeks.Good luck.Dr T
