I'm unhappy with how the tip of my nose droops downwards, I'm not interested in surgery but have heard Botox relaxes the muscle and can help lift the tip of the nose. I'm curious if this would help the appearance of my nose? I've considered getting filler to get a non surgical nose job look but am worried of the chance of going blind and other complications of getting fillers in the nose after researching.
Answer: Nonsurgical Nose Enhancement I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to go over your desired results. Facial fillers (like Voluma, Restylane, Juvederm) can be used to improve the symmetry of the nose, but surgery would be needed to improve nostrils or overall shape. Best to see an expert. - Dr. Emer

Answer: Would Botox under septum area help lift my nose? Hello @Adang33 thank you for your question. Because Botox has a different function, it does not lift the tip of the nose. By preventing contraction of the muscles that form the expression lines, Botox prevents these lines from becoming folds. Rhinomodeling is a treatment that has a specific selection for patients. The other option is surgery, and from this perspective, if you want the best result, you have two possibilities, surgical and non-surgical. Look for a a board certified plastic surgeon who knows about the subject to give you the best orientation. Best wishes!!

Answer: Botox for nose Botox will not work to lift the front of your nose. It relaxes muscles and the tip of your nose does not have active muscles causing it to dip down. I would recommend surgery to fix the nostrils and the shape or consider a filler like Juvederm to smooth out the dip. I would also recommend to have a consultation in person with a trusted doctor to see what they would recommend.

Answer: Noselift Hello Adana: Botox can be injected in the depressor septi muscle at the base of the column Ella of the nose to provide a very subtle lift to the tip of the nose. A small amount of filler can also be injected in the tip to get a more remarkable lift. You are right to be concerned about potential side effects, but if injected in a small amount very slowly and without high pressure, you should be safe. Neither procedure is performed frequently. Please find an expert injector with experience in these procedures. All the best to you from New York City, Sheryl Clark MD, FAAD

Answer: Botox is not indicated to "lift" the tip of the nose Unfortunately, Botox will not be effective in lifting the tip of the nose. Botox relaxes active muscle that cause dynamic lines in the face and neck. The downward tip of the nose is not caused by an active muscle contacting.
