Can I get fat taken out of armpit area for a bbl?

Thank you for your question. The answer is yes, if there is fat in this area then it can be used to fat graft for the BBL. However if this axillary tissue is breast tissue then it may not be able to be liposuctioned. You should see a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your decision.

This fat is commonly liposuctioned and can be transferred to your buttocks during the procedure. However, keep in mind that while the armpit area can be used, it may not yield a large amount of fat, so additional fat from other areas (such as the abdomen, flanks, or thighs) might be needed to achieve the desired volume for your BBL.

In general, the answer is yes. Most BBL surgeries include liposuction of the abdomen/flanks/back with fat transfer to the buttocks. Typically, the armpit area or arms can also be liposuctioned at the same time but there may be an extra fee for that part. In slimmer patients, a good second source of fat is in the inner thighs if there is not enough fat around the abdomen. Although it may seem like there is quite a bit of fat around the arms or armpits, it usually doesn't yield that much. So yes, you can have it liposuctioned at the same time to make that area look better, but if you are looking for another source of fat because you are on the smaller size, it won't give as much as you think. Hello and thank you for your question. The area of "bra fat" on the sides of the upper chest near the armpit is usually a good area for liposuction. As others have said, usually there isn't a large amount of fat here, so it would add a fairly negligible volume to be able to graft to your buttocks, but certainly if you would like to liposuction that area at the same time as you have liposuction of other, larger stores of subcutaneous fat in your body that can be done. There is usually a small incision near the armpit where the scar is less noticeable and most of my patients find that this area isn't particularly painful when they are in recovery. If this is the only area that you have that you want to take from, I highly doubt it would be enough for a BBL.  Generally speaking, you want to have a few areas we can liposuction from in order to have enough to transfer to both sides of the butt.
