Metronidazole (Flagyl) safe to take before surgery?

Hello,You are fine with taking Flagyl prior to your surgery. In fact you can take it the day of surgery.  You will be given another type of antibiotic, but what you're taking won't interfere.Best of luck!

You should be fine to take Flagyl up to the evening prior to surgery. Check with your surgeon.Good luck!

Flagyl stopped five days before breast augmentation surgery will be fine and will be all metabolized.Careful, no drinking on Flagyl due to the way alcohol is metabolized by Flagyl.
