Not happy with Restylane results under eyes. Did the doctor inject wrong (too low) or do I just need more filler? (Photo)

Thank you for your question. It appears as though you could use some dermal filler to your under eyes bilaterally. In regards to your previous injection, it is difficult to assess where the product was placed. The wrinkles under the eye will not improve with more filler. Skin tightening will help this. I think the cheeks look over corrected too. I wouldn't add any more filler to the cheek or eye area. 

It's hard to tell from the photo.  In general, I prefer Restylane under the eyes injected with a cannula instead of a needle.  This is a more advanced technique.   Most of the time I can avoid bruising and it is truly a no downtime procedure.

I think both are true. while it is slightly hard to tell from your photo it appears that you have fullness below the tear trough where the restylane should have been injected.  You may need to have this dissovled and start all over. This area is tricky to inject so I would make sure you see an experienced injector who does this all the time.  If should work wonderfully for your anatomy. best of luck.

If you are unsatisfied with your results, it may mean that you might need a bit more filler. Bruising can happen with fillers and this usually goes away.

Hard to advise over the internet. Either you had to little injected or in wrong area, or poorly experienced injecting doc. What did you pay? How much filler was used? I recommend Belotero-Balance HA filler instead fee $650. 

Injecting filler under the eyes is a great way for many people to look better.  However it is also one of the most challenging areas to get just right.  It is possible that some message by the doctor may improve the situation, or you may need the filler dissolved.  In any event, by looking at the photo, you should be able to get a nice result with Restylane under your eyes.Your best bet is to have your original doctor (or if you prefer another experienced cosmetic physician) take a look at you and suggest how things may be improved.Hope this helps.
