It can take 1-2 weeks for final results. I would wait a full 2 weeks before judging the results. If it is after the two week wait, you can have the filler reversed with hyaluronidase.

From the photo - I do see what you are referring to.  It's important to know what product was used as each filler has a different consistency.  The thicker the filler - the longer it takes to settle.   I would suggest waiting 1-2 weeks and if the "ridge" on either side is still visible - then arrange a follow-up with your provider.  They should have taken before photos and then you can compare the results with the after images.   If it's still persistent or bothersome - then it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase.

It depends on what filler was used and the exact placement and depth ? To augment the cheeks usually I place a volumizing filler deep often just on the bone. If it placed too superficial it may not offer a good volumization and may sit just beneath the skin as a 'lump' of product. I suggest if it does not improve with massage over the area you need to return to the doctor who may consider dissolving the filler with Hyaluronidase ?
