I have hard lumps in my incision after a Breast Augmentation. Any suggestions? (photos)

Most incisions are closed in layers.  Sometimes you can feel the deep stitches known as sutures.  Some sutures are permanent and some dissolve with time.  Some of the dissolving type can take many months to dissolve and give support so the scar doesn't widen.

resource when it comes to an accurate assessment of your situation, and
concerns.

Having said that, different surgeons will use different techniques to close the
wounds. There is no one way to do it. There is no one right way to do it
either. I am sure if you contacted your PS office they will be happy to answer
this with the BEST answer.You lumps are internal stitches.

I see firm little bumps under incisions occasionally.  Many times, these are where the underlying dissolvable stitches are.  Sometimes, they can come to a head, much like pimples and patients will call me telling me "my incision has come open and there is pus in it!"  Many times, this "pus" is the dissolved stitch coming to a head.  If this is the case, these usually resolve spontaneously.  Moisturizers and massage is always a good thing to try with these bumps.  And contact your surgeon as well.  He may know very well what these bumps are.  I doubt they will be of concern in the long run.  Good luck
