I'm 29 yrs old and over 300 pounds. Is Lipo possible?

Hi Wonderfulbbw.At 300 lbs, liposuction is not likely to be of benefit to you.  There are limitations as to how much fat can be removed at one time, and the skin also may not be able to shrink down to give a good result.I would suggest you speak with your doctor about a weight loss solution that might include bariatric surgery.Hope this helps.Se

Liposuction is very risky at high weights both in terms of medical complications and poor aesthetic outcomes.  It is also not a weight loss procedure and should not be viewed as such.   Best to arrive at your ideal weight first.  Consider a comprehensive weight loss program or a referral from your primary care physician to one.  Best wishes.

I would suggest that liposuction is not the procedure for you.  I would focus on other forms of weight loss and reserve liposuction for any areas which may be left once you have reached a lower weight.

Lipo will not address the weight issue but can change the contours.  Given your current weight you she see a bariatric surgeon.  If youngster not interested in weight loss surgery most will still help with medically supervised non-surgical weight loss.

I would not recommend liposuction for weight loss and would recommend you get to a healthy BMI before considering the procedure. Usually with excessive weight loss liposuction is not beneficial because the amount of loose excess skin remaining.
