I could not be happier with my results. Dr. Kasden is an exceptional physician and surgeon. He made sure to address any questions or concerns, and manage my expectations. More importantly, he gave me back the confidence to wear my hair back at work. I no longer have to worry if my formerly stretched earlobes are going to be a distraction.
Breast Augmentation was a gift I gave my daughter after she recovered from a near fatal boating accident. Full transparency: I am an older RN and put every provider through their paces (I torture them!) that takes care of me or my family. Dr. Kasden has continued to impress me so- he has consistently exceeded all my expectations. From the consultation through surgery and follow up- this Surgeon delivered clinically, artistically, professionally and compassionately. My daughter received the best, most personalized care Imaginable. She was so pleased with her breast augmentation end result, along with the entire surgical process. I, as a parent and RN was overwhelmed by Dr. Kasden’s surgical and clinical expertise as well as his compassion. Very quickly after meeting him I was able to just be a mom and not worry about anything! My daughter was in the best of hands. Fast forward to today- my daughter just had a baby. This may not seem relevant, but it is. Dr. Kasden did such an expert augmentation that she is able to breast feed her new baby as before receiving implants. So much so that the Lactation Nurse was deeply impressed when my daughter shared about the presence of her implants. She confided in my daughter that she had no idea, and that it was the best result she had ever seen. My daughter went into this pregnancy with no expectations regarding successful lactation- after all surgery can alter function. With breast augmentation the obvious goal is esthetics, but health and function should be ranked alongside that. Choosing Dr. Kasden was an easy decision once we met him. Being able to share how beautifully enduring his results are sone two years later is a blessing and a direct result of his surgical expertise. I am writing this late review because I noticed most written reviews are written recent to the surgery which is helpful, but long term success is what matters most. Dr Kasden is a truly gifted surgeon and clinician. Anyone he cares for will have the best care by a devoted professional. It would be remiss to not send Kudos to his wonderful and attentive office staff as well. As a mother, it gratifies my heart to see my daughter’s wonderful feelings about the beauty of her breast augmentation as strong today as they were two years ago. Ever grateful, Suzanne
I’m so glad that I’ve decided and entrusted this major “transformation” to Dr. Kasden. His calm, care, and wonderful bedside manner have relieved all of my worries, before, during and after the procedure. My recovery is quick and the incision heals nicely. And yes, it’s hurt (more and different than C-section), but Dr. Kasden has ensured that I’m safely comfortable. His talent and careness are greatly appreciated. Because of him, I’m able and want to look at myself in the mirror again!
Dr. Scott Kasden, is not only good at what he does, but he is professional, patient and very caring. When I got my breast implants 11 years ago, I had a terrible experience, I woke up during the process. I can still remember the immense pain I felt. To make the matter worse, I wasn’t happy with the results. Due to this terrible experience, I waited 11 years to have my implants removed. I lived with the discomfort and pain of having breast. I visited 3 other Surgeons before I found Dr. Kasden. He made me feel at ease, he explained the process, step by step. Dr. Kasden, answered all of my questions and my husband’s. He was sensitive and honest. I had my surgery two weeks ago, I am still recovering and thankfully, very happy with the results so far. Dr. Kasden continues to monitor my progress. I’m looking forward to the final results!
I'm only six days out from my procedure and I'm pretty happy with what I'm seeing, although I’m still pretty swollen and a little bruised. My stitches come out this Friday and wearing the compression garment all day for the first two weeks pretty much blows. I’m still a little numb just under my chin and in the areas that aren’t, it is a little sore, like an internal bruise. Nothing too uncomfortable. Dr. Kasden is amazing. I was awake for my procedure (although thoroughly drugged) but I don’t remember much. Just some pressure and tugging but honestly, even that memory is fuzzy. Dr. Kasden was incredibly thorough, from consultation to procedure, and answered pretty much any question I could think to ask before I had a chance to ask it. All in all, I’m very happy with my decision and I can’t wait to see my end result! Updated on 20 Nov 2020: I got my stitches out this morning my doctor is pleased with my progress so far. It was recommended that I massage my neck and chin area for 1 minute, twice a day with a small vibrating massages to help break up some of the lumpy texture. Overall, feeling great and so pleased with my progress thus far. Updated on 25 Nov 2020: Yesterday was 2 weeks post procedure. I’ve got a couple lumps under my chin and one on my left jawline that I’m massaging a couple times a day. The scab under my chin is healing, slowly but surely. I’m hoping it doesn’t scar. Overall, still very happy with my results Updated on 11 Dec 2020: My doctor is really happy with the results so far and says they’ll only get better as more time passes. I’ve still got some lumps under my chin area and the skin feels tight when I look up. Continuing to massage the area a couple times daily. I’m so happy I did this! Updated on 26 May 2021: I’m just past the six month mark from my procedure in November. I’ve got a tiny bit of scar tissue under my chin but I’m massaging daily and it seems to be helping. Still super happy with how defined my jawline looks now.
I have been receiving Botox from Dr Kasden for almost 3 years. He is always conservative and always achieving the natural results I request. I have had some “smile wrinkles” that have been bothering me and today I finally tried Juvederm. I should have tried it sooner! I am so happy with the results! I have heard the injections can sting quite a bit- HOWEVER- Dr Kasden used numbing cream and then a numbing shot. It was not bad AT ALL! I no longer dread picking up my dark iPad and catching those wrinkles in the reflection that made me look older than I feel. Sharon runs the front office with friendly professionalism! Thanks Dr Kasden!
So excited! Finally back on the schedule with just under 2 weeks to go! Prescriptions already filled and ready to go. Getting things like a walker, shower chair, etc and my needed items and grocery list set up for this next week. I cannot wait!!!! Updated on 22 Feb 2021: We are just over 5 months post-op and this whole journey has been amazing. Dr. Kasden cares greatly about his patients being informed, educated, and prepared. I went into this with full confidence in both my knowledge and his skill. I love my results and it just gets better as time goes on. Meeting with Dr. Kasden at each follow-up appointment is a true comfort as well. He always makes sure that any concerns or questions are addressed and takes his time with you. I have already recommended him to several people and will continue to do so.
Dr Kasden will talk with you at length about what your goals are and how he can help you achieve them. He will give you honest advice on what to expect every step of the way. This is my second surgery procedure with Dr Kasden. My first was a neck lift with coblation on my face to get rid of fine lines. I am so happy with both results. I have also received Botox many times- always with natural results. He is a surgeon that will follow up on his patients much more than any other doctor I have ever known. He really cares! Sharon, who runs the office, is a joy as well as being professional and helpful. I am grateful to have found Dr Kasden and his staff!
I have been a patient of Dr. Kasden’s for almost 10 years now. He is absolutely wonderful. From the beginning he takes the time to understand your goals and discuss all the possible options with you. He incorporates his sense of humor to put you at ease and answers all questions thoroughly. For the procedure(s) he carefully explains what to expect and takes great care to ensure you are comfortable. He pays spectacular attention to detail and it shows! (Check out the pics of his work) Dr. Kasden is a surgeon who excels at what he does and has a passion for his craft. His pricing is fair and reasonable and his office is in a great location. I would recommend him to all my family and friends.
Dr. Kasden & his staff are AMAZING! Dr. Kasden answered all of my questions and allowed me to schedule multiple consultations prior to making a decision. There was absolutely no pressure. I felt like he actually tried to get to know me on a personal level which is always comforting when having any type of surgery. I had a few questions the day after my surgery & Dr. Kasden answered my call. He even called and checked on me himself a few days later. I've had monthly check ups and am happy with my results. I have already recommended Dr. K to some family and friends!
Hi Rickycabs094 Everyone's face is asymmetrical to some degree. Your entire left ear is located slightly higher on your head than the right side. This cannot be taken off and moved down. One thing that can be done is the upper pole can be reduced to make the top part of the ears align better. the lower pole/lobe won't be affected however. If you look at your face the left side is slightly higher (eye, brow, corner of the mouth). The asymmetry is absolutely within normal limits, and actually makes your appearance more interesting and attractive! Celebrate your uniqueness. Here is an exercise for you. Take a fashion magazine with a handsome/beautiful model on the front page, front view of the face. Take a straight edge and mark the photo straight down the midline. Get a mirror and compare each side of the face to the picture. You will notice even slight asymmetries. These are extremely beautiful people and even they have asymmetries.
Hi SweetSeoul Yes! By definition, a tummy tuck involves removing excess/stretched skin and tightening/shaping the abdominal strength layer which addresses the diastasis recti. I routinely lipo the flanks during tummy tuck, but this is something you should confirm with your doctor. You need to be in good health, a non-smoker, and your weight should be stable. Also, it is best to be finished with child rearing. All the best. sek
Hi Kerasoft. I will base my answer on photos only, without the ability to examine you and importantly, make measurements. You appear to have "macrotia" or enlarged or hypertrophied ears. You may also have prominent ears as well. This can be treated with an otoplasty quite nicely. I would suggest carefully selecting a board certified plastic surgeon (only) who has a lot of experience with otoplasties, and also, a passion for the procedure. All the best. sek
Hi Valentinars8. The right breast is smaller than the left breast. Historically, this is new along with a softening and/or changing of the feel of the breast. I suggest you contact your surgeon this morning as it is very likely that you have a deflating implant. If this is a saline implant, you likely have a slow leak that will continue, but it is not harmful to you. The good news is that the implants are under warranty. All the best. sek
I would start your search with a board certified plastic surgeon (not a so called "board certified cosmetic surgeon"- big difference). I would also suggest that your plastic surgeon of choice be a member of The American Society for Aesthetic Surgery. An experienced plastic surgeon will know how to anchor sutures properly. Based on your concerns, I would suggest an upper eyelid lift (blepharoplasty), along with a SMAS lower facelift (cheek and neck). If you are in good health, this combination of procedures should address your issues and achieve your goals with a good result. sek
