Breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery.
Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size.
While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.
If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals.

Pocket correction plus a donut lift could help avoid extra scars but the results would be sub-par. That said, if you want the best results posible, a breast lift is your only option.

It looks like your nipple is lower than your breast fold, which means a breast lift would probably be necessary. This would reshape your breast to make it more symmetric in shape with your right breast.

Hi. I think that in order to make your left nipple more symmetric to the right, you will need to redo the breast lift scars on the left side. Manipulating the implant pocket can help make the overall shape of your breast better and more equal, but this won’t affect your nipple position. Your left nipple needs to be addressed additionally but can easily be done at the same time as you implant exchange. Best of luck!

Hello! Unfortunately the distance your areolae needs to move requires more than just an incision around the areola only- to have an optimum result you would need an incision down the front of your breast as well.

Replacing implants plus adjusting internal pockets should help breast shape be more symmetrical.

A full revision lift on the left, lower side will restore more nipples position symmetry.

An exam and consultation with a plastic surgeon is recommended to confirm this as well as discuss your options and expectations.
