Wrong breast implant type. Can I ask for a revision?

every surgeon has a revision policy. Many involve reduced or even no fees for the surgeon (depending on the situation) while the patient may still be responsible for facility (the use of the operating room, staff, and supplies) and anesthesia fees. Best to go back to your surgeon and have a talk about your concerns again.

This is something you need to discuss with your surgeon. Also, look back on your paperwork, especially the permit, to see what kind of implant, is any, is specified. I always discuss the specific implant to be used during the preop visit so there is no misunderstanding.

You can elect to have your implants exchanged at any time. It will be an agreement between you and your surgeon about how the costs will be determined for the procedure. I encourage you to schedule a visit and be sure to bring any documentation you have with you about when you specifically discussed your implants.
