Please help. My right breast isn’t dropping, it’s been 9 months, my doctors doesn’t seem to be concerned but I’m pretty upset. I’ve wanted this my whole life and they don’t look right. Does anyone know what has happened or what can be done to fix this?? I’ve worn a bra band to try and fix it and done massages but nothing is making it drop.
Answer: Implant You appear to have a capsule. You can try oral Accolate and external ultrasound treatments to see if the capsule can be softened. Otherwise, you will need surgery.

Answer: Implant dropping Dear Terrific227246, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Contracture After 9 months, this issue likely won’t fix itself. Your right breast has a contracture which means the scar around the implant won’t let it drop. Or, it is possible that this area wasn’t released during the surgery to allow it to drop properly. Either way, it will need surgery to correct. Many implant companies have warranties for this situation so check with your surgeon to see how to proceed. Best of luck!

Answer: Breast asymmetry following breast augmentation If you are not happy with your result, I would recommend that your seek out a second opinion from a breast surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and preferably a member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. Even though the diagnosis of capsular contracture can only be made after careful in-person examination, it does not appear that you have a significant capsular contracture. The breast volume is very close between the two breasts. There may be a very simple and straight forward correction that possibly could be done in an office environment under local anesthetic where the right inframammary fold is lowered slightly and the implant is pulled down into this expanded pocket. I have a small number of patients who have required this procedure over the past 30 years. Good luck to you.
