I was advised to do 375cc teardrop silicone implants for a natural look. I was a small b cup before the procedure, 28 years old, 4’11, and was 98lbs. However, after the surgery I noticed that my breast pointed down and I was assured several times by my surgeon that they looked good despite my concerns. I was told I didn’t need a breast lift and that they looked great. I am wondering if I should have revision done with either a different imlant type or smaller cc’s.
Answer: Breasts You need a lift. Please do not go larger for you will just have larger and more sagging breasts. The augmentation did not correct the need for the lift.

Answer: Explant with Bellesoma Method The technique I recommend is explantation and lift using The Bellesoma Method. The implants are removed, your breast tissue is reshaped creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained if not injured during your previous surgery. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: It's not the implants Your breasts were never a good candidate for breast implants alone. Your original breast shape dictated the need for a breast lift. Going forward, round implants are more predictable and safer than shaped ones because the textured surface of shaped implants do not lock them into place. Further, there is no difference in how a shaped implant affects breast shape compared to a round implant. You'll need to see a surgeon who knows this and is able to deliver a great result. Your current surgeon doesn't display either an aesthetic eye or he doesn't feel comfortable performing breast lifts.

Answer: BA results Dear breastfeedingmom, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Breast lift I’m sorry you’re disappointed with your results. I don’t think that changing the implants will help your breasts to not point down. You will need a breast lift to do that, but that would add a lot more scars to your breasts. So it would be best to talk to your surgeon in person about your feelings about your results, and goals for the outcome. Then he/she can give you a much better idea of what you can do to be happy with the way it looks.
