Can my tragus be repaired? (Photo)

Female / 25 Years Old Currently researching whether it's possible to repair my split Tragus after a piercing was accidentally ripped out. The 'split' Tragus happened almost 7 years ago.

Yes, Tragus can be repaired. It is not very complicated and can be done in the office under local anesthesia. It will not look exactly like before but the split will not be as noticeable.

A split trigs could be repaired. It would be replaced with a scar. There would still probably be a small notch where the scar reaches the edge of the tragus. This could be done under a local anaesthetic. One should not re-pierce it through the repaired scar.If personal medical advice you should consult a suitably qualified and experienced plastic surgeon.Best wishes.

Hello. Yes, the image here can be corrected, a small piece of cartilage can be taken from the ear and placed on the ruptured place here. It will never be like the original state, but the split here may look more tidy. My advice is not to have the surgery because it doesn't look too bad. The result you will get after the surgery may not make you happy.

Hello and thank you for your question.It is surely possible: a few options should be considered and the potential result compared to the other side (which we hope is intact!direct excision and closureV-Y plasty to try and reproduce the original advancing shapeor possibly a wedge graft ( not as good because you have to take it on the ear) or just small bit of cartilage to reconstitute the shape...
Please consult a local plastic surgeon and I am sure you will find the good solution
