Hello, I have a maybe unusual question. I have an appointed for lip filler (bottom lip) end of week. And unfortunately seems like I will also need to have tonsillectomy done in 15 days after, is there any issues with migration or infection ?

Answer: Lip filler Since you know when you'll be having your tonsillectomy it is best to proceed with that as planned. Once completely healed you can then have your lip filler treatment. Though there isn't a high risk, the pressure placed on the lips during your surgery could impact your lip filler results since it's so close to the treatment date.

Answer: Lip Filler After Surgery-when is the best time It is advisable to wait at least four to six weeks after undergoing a tonsillectomy before considering lip filler injections. This is because any surgical procedure, including dental interventions like a tonsillectomy, can potentially introduce bacteria into the bloodstream. These bacteria can settle on the lip filler and cause an infection. Infected lip filler must often be dissolved and treated with antibiotics or steroids.
