In general, after receiving lip filler it takes 1-2 weeks for the swelling to go down. Based on your timeline, there should not be any contraindications to having both procedures. It is advisable to wait at least four to six weeks after undergoing a tonsillectomy before considering lip filler injections. This is because any surgical procedure, including dental interventions like a tonsillectomy, can potentially introduce bacteria into the bloodstream. These bacteria can settle on the lip filler and cause an infection.
Infected lip filler must often be dissolved and treated with antibiotics or steroids.

Very occasionally after dental or oral work, a filler can swell up a bit due to the increased microbial flora release that occurs, so I'd suggest to do the lip filler at least 2 weeks after the tonsillectomy. Best to chat with your dermatologist further if you have any more questions.
