Thank you for your question, your body contour can improve after liposuction in your flanks and upper and lower back also I would suggest liposuction in your arms as well. I would suggest to be treated by board certified plastic surgeon with experience in this procedure, to get the best desired results.

Thank you for your question. I do think your a great candidate for liposuction of the flank area. Whether or not it can be done at the same time as a tummy tuck that will be up to your Surgeon of choice. Regarding cost, each practice will have their own protocol on what they include in a procedure or don't include. An examination is needed to be sure, but you appear to have some excess fat which can be removed. As you get older, this area will become more noticeable and you will be glad you did liposuction.

Liposuction in conjunction with a tummy tuck is an excellent idea for many individuals and I would say you are a prime example.
There is however a few caveats you need to take in consideration.
Typically I view the torso as a single anatomic unit and when it comes to Liposuction I like to treat the entire tour so as a single unit and leave no where are you and cheated in order to leave people it with a natural even thin fat distribution without transition zone between treated and untreated areas.

The fat layer on the front of your abdomen will automatically get thin from pulling the skin tight just like a rubber band gets then when you pull it tight.
This will leave your waist love handles and back looking big and bulky compared to your new tight flat abdomen.
The problem is that doing that procedure (liposuction of your backside ) well really requires turning the patient on their side or face down.
Also, delivering consistent quality liposuction results is more difficult than most people believe and this includes a lot of plastic surgeons.
Before committing to any procedure you should thoroughly vet your plastic surgeon and have multiple consultations to compare to try to find the best provider. if you’re having more than one procedure and I would say adding Liposuction makes it to procedures. then you need to vet the provider for each of the procedures.
Do that by having in person consultations at which time you should ask the provider to show their entire portfolio before and after pictures for the procedure you’re interested in.
For both Liposuction and tummy tuck experience providers should have no difficulty showing you at least 50 sets of before and after pictures for each procedure. Being shown a handful of sample cases which most likely represent the best results of the providers career is insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like in the hands of each provider. it also needs to be very clear exactly what areas are included in the word “flanks” people have very different understandings of what that includes or where the flanges actually are. In my practice I usually start liposuction at the level of the hip dip if someone has one and at the same level if you can imagine a person who does have a hip dip. in your case it would be just slightly below where your wrist meets your hand on the picture included. I would do liposuction from that point up all the way to the top of your back and side of your breast include the entire dorsal side and waist.
Surgeons who do liposuction in this area without turning the patient are doing the procedure blind and are never going to get results as good as those who properly turn the patient and have a mastered body contouring.
There’s a vast difference in outcome from Liposuction based on what provider you select.
If you want a quality result and are going to pay for it then you need to make absolutely sure that your provider is good in both procedures.
You need to have very clear understanding of if you were going to be turned during surgery and exactly what areas will be included. You should ask to see numerous before and after pictures of other patients who have had the same combination and look carefully at their entire backside to see if their results look as good as what you expect or overall quality results you see looking through the Internet.
Obviously there are over exaggerated results and the Internet is not always an accurate source of information but if you look for patients with similar body characteristics to your own you should be able to find some examples of what do you think are excellent quality results.
Bring those pictures with you and when reviewing the before and after portfolio from each provider see if their results look like the ones you want to obtain.
For a tummy tuck look carefully at who gets the most natural looking belly button. That tends to be one of the hardest parts of a tummy tuck procedure and surgeons to get the tummy tuck right often get the rest of the procedure correct as well. other characteristics of quality work include a very low set scar that follows anatomic contours naturally and appears even on both sides. The torso should look good from all angles including from behind. Good plastic surgeons will modify the procedure or incorporate liposuction to make sure that the rest of the torso matches the new improved abdomen.
