Space between my lips and nose is too big after rhinoplasty - do I need a lip lift? (photos)

A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. You would be a candidate for a lip lift.

Upper lip elongation can occur with age or following a rhinoplasty. In your case it is not clearly elongated to my eye. To be more precise, one would have to see older photos of yourself and measure your upper lip in clinic.
Looking at your lip architecture, you already have a prominent central portion to the cupids bow. Therefore, if any bullhorn lip lift was to be performed, consideration to combining it with corner lip lift would seem sensible.

If you are bothered by the length of your philtrum, you could benefit from a lip lift. The OOS lip lift is an ameliorated version of the traditional lip lift I invented.

Of course, an “in person” exam is necessary. It is recommended to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon expert in lip reshaping.
